About this deal

Those who have worn the previous Bogart by Jacques Bogart (1975) will instantly understand this as a progression on that theme. I like the style from this time, 1980, but I get an air freshener smell that makes it a neutral for me. To use it properly without annoying anybody and also yourself the weather must be at least cool so except summer you can wear it easily in all remaining seasons. This strikes me a sober, suited, day-in-court/board meeting sort of scent for times when you want to be manly and in control. That seems like a great way to quickly describe One Man Show: better than I would have done, so I quoted it. You wore it to our wedding party at the Hotel Kosmos, where there was a bottle of vodka per capita for every guest. To be honest I didn't expect that much from this fragrance based on my experience with "Silver Scent" also from the brand which is terrible in my opinion but "One Man Show" really surprised me! This fragrance opens up with a fresh, lemony, herbal, green and peppery aroma that smells kind of like "7Up" and "Sprite" but more intense!I'm a big fan of this type of woody/mossy/aromatic old-fashioned masculine fragrances, and this one definitely doesn't disappoint. Instead it is best suited for the more cooler, overcast and rainy days of early spring or late autumn. Here, the distinct, smoky essence of frankincense takes center stage, fused with the exotic, woody scent of Lebanon cedar. For reference, if you are a fan of "Bogart Signature (1975)", you will notice the clear progression One Man Show takes just 5 years later to ring in 1980 as the decade of powerhouse men's fragrances.

OMS is a very 'cold', 'gray' and 'industrial' smelling fragrance with monster silage and impressive longevity.

I can’t even say that I’d classify this as old man smelling, it’s just weird smelling as a whole, and also really dark and oppressive, melancholy like, heavy feeling, somber. It's the kind of fragrance that, in my younger days, would have riveted my attention long enough to find out who was wearing it. Unsurprisingly, this is a loud "typical 80's" aromatic chypre of the "powerhouse" sub-genre, but unlike it's name, isn't quite so brash to actually wear.
