Another useful feature is SoundShift, which allows you to play music from a Bluetooth-connected phone or any of the soundbar inputs and jump between the two. So if you’re watching a film and you hit play on your phone, it will override the TV input and continue playing your music. This can be turned off, so it’s a useful extra – and ideal for advert breaks. The soundbar handles music almost as well as it does movies and TV. It performed best on songs that highlight vocals and bass, such as Taylor Swift’s “the last great american dynasty.” It struggled somewhat on the layered sounds of Fiona Apple’s “Shameika,” muddling together the instruments, but Apple’s voice and the rhythm were distinct. Similarly, Jason Isbell’s voice was clear on “What’ve I Done to Help,” but his acoustic guitar was low in the mix. Die Bar braucht einen Equalizer! Die ist klar in der Lage auch mitten gut wiederzugeben. Wenn man aber nur die Wahl zwischen den voreingestellten Soundprofilen hat, opfert man entweder Mitten für Höhen oder umgekehrt. Wirklich ausgewogen kommt keins der Soundprofile rüber. Der Boden der Lächerlichkeit ist der sogenannten "Movie"-Modus, bei dem Stimmen völlig untergehen. Dabei wäre es so einfach. Die Bar hat Bluetooth und HDMI. Mit einer einfachen Equalizer-App für Smartphones oder PC wärs schon getan.Die Tiefen sind *massiv* (da 300W Sub) und man braucht sie, da sonst die Bar flach klingt, nichts für Mietwohnungen, nehmt die kleinere von JBL..... Die Soundbar selbst liefert reinen aber etwas dünnen Ton, dem die Mitten komplett fehlen. Das läßt sich auch durch das starke wummern des Subwoofers nicht verbessern. Ganz im Gegenteil, die trägt eher zu einem etwas unausgewogenen Klangbild bei. In reality, it doesn’t appear to change the sound much to the listener, so that seems to be a good thing – how well it works for others is another matter.
