About this deal

The world-time mode directly shows another important improvement of the new module. During the use of a second time-zone in world-time mode, the original home time of the watch remains visible in the display as well. A very useful, almost indispensable function when traveling. In the old module, the abbreviation of the chosen city remained visible (like NYC), but where you are will be something you’ll remember yourself and hasn’t to be kept in the display in my opinion. This feature, of permanent availability of the home time in the display, shows in the stopwatch and timer mode as well. Stopwatch

Adjustable date format (M.DD or DD.M) and adjustable day of week language (English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Russian) Tough Solar (CASIO’s original solar-charging system converts not only sunlight but also light from fluorescent lamps and other sources into power)

Reviews

Because the watch has only 4 buttons, entering settings and alarm times can require a number of button presses. One of the most convenient aspects of the watch is its radio signal receiver, which allows it to accurately display the time in different regions, including the EU, US, JP and CH. It also has a world time function, making it a perfect accessory for frequent travellers.

But all these minuses, as it seems to me, are "habit problems". In a couple of weeks it will be finally clear. I don't know if this band style is a Japanese-market thing, but I am not a fan of this flat band that doesn't have the "links" where the band attaches to the module. It looks bloated, and shapeless in comparison to the normal band.Is it clear?– it should be easy to “get” the design and to read the time. Here, some watches with a crowded dial can still qualify if the design is perfect. Other features include Tough Solar power, Multi-Band 6 automatic radio time syncing (except for G-5600UE), mineral glass, full auto calendar, 1/100-second stopwatch with split, 1st and 2nd place (1/100-second for first hour, 1-second after first hour), 5 alarms with 1 snooze, adjustable hourly time signal, power saving function, 12-24 hour format, and button tone on/off.

CON: Watch could snag on things. Numerous button presses may be required for settings. Gaskets should be replaced every 2-3 years. Significant unobstructed bright-light time needed to keep the battery charged. Alarms daily only; cannot be set for a specific date. Band durability uncertain.

Technical Details

For fans of precision: the countdown timers help you to remember specific or recurring events by giving off an audible signal at a preset time. The time can be set to the nearest minute and up to 24 hours in advance. Ideal for people who need to take medicines every day or those who do interval training. Y muchas más funciones que si investigan en Internet les va a convencer aún más. En cuestión de la sincronización de la hora con la antena atómica lo he intentado sin éxito pero cuando lo logre actualizare mi reseña (**Actualización más abajo) . The home screen: y ou can’t have the local and home time zones displayed at the same time on the home screen. That would have been a nice feature to have! Style o Cheapish Band - I like the Barton silicone watch bands as the are soft and supple. The Casio band is a bit stiff. It is durable and we'll see how well it holds up. (I'll replace it with a conversion kit if I ever have band issues)m of water resistance, which is not always the case on all electronic watches (just don’t wear your watch in the shower, better safe than sorry). Meaning you can ash your hand, swim and dive with this one no problem. I previously owned Casio calculator/databank/alarm watches that use 8 buttons to control settings, including the reverse, forward, 0, and PM buttons, and use the numeric keypad for setting times and dates.) Elapsed time, split time and final time are measured with 1/100-sec accuracy. The watch can measure times of up to 24 hours.
