How they work: Dry shampoos are a starch (think cornstarch) that is applied to the hair to absorb oil. You then run a comb through your hair to remove the excess powder. Easily removing dirt, grease and odours, it leaves hair beautifully soft and clean. Just put it on dry hair, work through with your fingers and watch it foam. Then all you have to do is wipe it out with a towel and you're done! Cons: If you straighten your hair or have a blow out, this product will wet your hair and could flatten your style or reactivate your curl. Cons: They don't clean your hair nearly as well as a regular shampoo and they also may leave a white residue that can be a no-no for dark hair.
Apply liquid directly and generously to the scalp, massage to lift dirt and grease, whilst wet and soapy, remove liquid by thoroughly towel drying. Leaves hair beautifully soft and clean.
