According to official Rounders bat regulations it should measure no longer than 46 centimetres in length (18 inches). A Rounder bat must not be more than 17 centimetres (6 inches round) in diameter. Each batter faces one delivery at a time. They should try and get to the first post before they are given out. There are two umpires in an official game of rounders. One is the batting umpire and one is the bowling umpire. The batter's umpire should stand level with the batsman inside the batting square. They should be able to see the 1st post without a need to turn their head. The bowler's umpire needs to be able to see all of the playing area, and it is considered to be one of the most complex roles in rounders. Five innings constitute a game, depending on the level of the match. Each batting team's inning continues until three outs are made.
