It's your job to stop Dr. Zenga, who wants to take control of the city. Before you set off, you will have to choose one of four heroes. Each character has its own advantages and disadvantages (eg a character with a greater strength is slow). In addition, each warrior has one powerful special blow, which - unfortunately - exhausts their health. Kujawa, Kraig (February 2000). "Fighting Force 2". Official U.S. PlayStation Magazine. Hawk, Mace, and Smasher are Axel, Blaze and Max with different hair (and a shirt for Smasher). Ironically, Hawk and Mace's beta designs (The latter is still present in the game as the boss Jetpac) had the same hair but different clothes, while Smasher resembles Max moreso than his earlier incarnation, Hammer (also still present as the boss Driver). A second sequel, Fighting Force 3 was also in development for the GameCube, Xbox and PlayStation 2, but was canceled during development, though a video tech demo of it exists on the internet.
