Charmed, I’m Sure is a muted, medium-dark brown with warmer undertones and a matte finish. It was blendable on the lid, but it was prone to sheering out a bit as it was softer and thinner overall. It lasted for seven hours on me. Mica, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Talc, PTFE, Zinc Stearate, Sodium Saccharin, Water/Aqua/Eau, Ethylene/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, Geraniol, Glycerin, Hexyl Cinnamal, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance/Parfum, Phenoxyethanol, Prunus Persica (Peach) Fruit Extract/ Prunus Persica Fruit Extract, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Sorbic Acid, Carmine (CI 75470). May Contain: Yellow 5 Lake (CI 19140), Bismuth Oxychloride (CI 77163), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891). Can you compare this palette to the zoeva matte one? They seem pretty similar just by looking at the palette. I can’t decide which one should I go for.

Bellini is a muted, medium rose gold with stronger, pink base and a golden sheen. The version in the newer palette seemed to have a stronger pink base and less gold shimmer. The consistency was a touch drier but remained blendable and lasted for seven hours on me. My general review stands the same, though, which is that Too Faced’s formula begs for an eyeshadow primer. It is typically thinner and dustier such that the eyeshadows will sheer out or apply unevenly (or turn patchy when blended) without primer underneath. There are many formulas that at least apply well (even if they don’t last all day) without primer, but Too Faced’s eyeshadow formula is particularly difficult to use well without primer across the board–application, pigmentation, blendability, and longevity. The palette does have a strong, sweet peach scent, though I can’t smell it once applied to the lid. Peach Butter is a very light beige with warm, peachy undertones and a matte finish. The color payoff was opaque, while the texture was soft, smooth, and not too powdery nor was it firm or stiff in the pan. It was easy to work with, though the white base turned the mid-tone and darker shades a bit grayish and ashy at times (which is not a constant issue I’ve had with these types of colors in the past, just with some of them). It lasted for just over seven hours on me before fading, though if I wore it on my inner corner, it disappeared within five hours–even over primer. Peach Meringue is a light-medium, yellowed beige with warm undertones and a matte finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation with a soft, smooth texture that was drier in the pan but it blended out well on the lid. It had a stronger white base to the color that had a tendency to turn darker shades in the palette grayish or chalky, which made it difficult to use as a blending shade or above the crease. It lasted for seven hours on me. If you do not like sweet flowery fragrances - do not go for this! It does have a strong smell of peach.

While I truly feel sad for those who have been anxiously awaiting and wanting this palette, I also feel a weird sense of relief. Basically for 2 reasons: I am severely allergic to one of the ingredients common to ALL of Too Faced “food themed” palettes, sodium saccharin, and secondly, this palette just isn’t all that quality wise. Pretty as a peach (and scented with an irresistibly peachy fragrance) this super-cute palette is a fresh new take on neutrals. Perfect pinks and corals meet subtle neutrals, rich, indulgent bronzes and pops of opulent purple, with 18 options so that you can create timeless, limitless looks. The rich, pigmented shadow provides impressive colour payoff that lasts and the range is specially designed to complement all skin tones. This is in my wheel house of shades I like to use… Very tempting but I think I’ll have to wait till later. I also noticed that those more white-based shades did not work as well on the inner corner of my eye as any wateriness seemed to travel and cause severe fading (almost erasure of the eyeshadow) shortly after, and by no means am I referring to extremely watery eyes... just a normal day and my eyes never felt like they were watering, but I could tell that they must have at some point as eyeshadow started to go missing and there was a harsher edge where it had gone missing over time. I have seen it happen on occasion with some matte eyeshadows but never as bad as with these. It did not matter if I wore Too Faced's Shadow Insurance under those shades or not; the same thing happened. Peaches and Cream is a light-medium, peachy orange with warm undertones and a matte finish. The consistency was soft, just a smidgen dusty in the pan, and felt drier and a little chalky to the touch, though I did not notice those things when I applied it to the lid, as it went on quite nicely. It had opaque coverage in a single layer, but the color darkened over time (about ten minutes) and did not appear as bright on. This shade stayed on well for seven hours, but when I placed it on my inner lid, it only managed five and a half hours–even over primer.

Peach Pit is a deep brown with warm undertones and a pearly sheen. The color coverage was intense and opaque, while the texture was smooth, firm but not stiff, and lasted for eight hours on me. Peach Tea is a light-medium brown with warm, orange undertones and a matte finish. It had good color coverage in a single layer, and it was easy to control the pigmentation I wanted, whether that was more medium or opaque. The consistency was soft, not dusty or powdery in the pan, and while it felt drier to the touch, it adhered evenly to bare skin and blended out easily. It wore well for seven and a half hours on me. Do you think some of the under-performance it’s because you used it with Enigma instead of the Anti-Aging Primer?
