About this deal

Greg said that Rowley should rewrite the chapter so it was a battle between the trolls and pixies so they could make it into a video game. But Rowley didn't want the video game to be violent and wants it to be educational. He then gave Rowley a book called Monsters Of Myth to help him brainstorm monsters that Roland will face next.

Greg thought Garg was cool because they could make a Garg action figure and everyone would love him. Rowley also said that they could make a Roland action figure but Greg says he's an ordinary kid and doesn't do a whole lot. Roland put Garg and Stephon into time-out and created a suggestion box. The team eventually gets their act together then headed further using the elf's footprints, but got lost in a corn maze. Roland is a thin Viking with a helmet with 5 strands of hair coming from his hairline with a mullet haircut. He wears old medieval like clothing resembling a peasant. Vampiric Werewolf: Christoph is a young attractive vampire who was later bitten by a werewolf. Initially, his transformation just makes him even more alluring, especially to Shae'Vana (much to Roland's chagrin), but the second time it happens, his howling just gets on everyone's nerves Most of them flee out of there however two of the victims decided to stay and help Roland on his expedition.

Retailers:

In diesem Band war das manchmal auch ein wenig so aber Rupert hat sich diesesmal gewehrt und sich selber treu geblieben. Kann man in Band 2 einer Kinderbuchreihe schon von „Character development“ sprechen? 🤣 Archer Archetype: Shae'vana subverts the trope in that, while she is a master archer, she is not a loner and is emotional enough to fall in love with Christoph. Shae'Vana is similar to Mayor Lionheart in Zootopia. Both were initially thought to be the main villain because of their questionable actions (Shae'Vana steals the map to the ice fortress and Lionheart secretly imprisons savage predators) but later revealed that their actions were to protect others and were simply framed by the true villain (the One-Eyed Wizard and Bellwether respectively).

It is never revealed what country Rowley went to on his trip to South America in the book series, but the online book states that he went to Brazil. It is said in the first film that Rowley went to Guatemala, although Guatemala is in Central America. In the online book, Rowley is said to own a PlayStation with 42 games. However, in the movie, Rowley is shown to have a Wii, meaning that he probably upgraded his console. Or as in this context, what is Greg without Rowley? The latter, who mostly comes off as a stupid comic relief in the Wimpy Kid series, gets to share his own viewpoint via the Awesome Friendly Kid series. Rowley possesses a pure soul and deeply believes in the underlying affection Greg has for him. He also shares a close relationship with his parents, and disappointing them weighs heavily on him. Despite his good-natured spirit, Rowley has had a few run-ins with his parents, like causing a mess in the basement during a Halloween attraction, spending extravagantly at the country club with Greg, and wandering off without informing his parents, resulting in early bedtime.Diary of an Awesome Friendly Kid: Rowley Jefferson's Journal is a spin-off of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series by Jeff Kinney. [4] Unlike the main-series books, which are written from the perspective of Greg Heffley, Diary of an Awesome Friendly Kid is written from the perspective of Greg's best friend, Rowley Jefferson, acting as Greg's biographer. [5] The book was released on April 9, 2019. [4] [2] A sequel, titled Rowley Jefferson's Awesome Friendly Adventure was released on August 4, 2020, [6] delayed from an initial release date of April 7, 2020. [7] [8] Plot [ edit ] In an interview on the official Wimpy Kid YouTube channel, Kinney described that he noticed "the audience [...] always rooting for Rowley" in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies. [10] This inspired him to write a novel from Rowley's point of view. [11] On the subject of the book's illustrations, Kinney said that he liked how his art style is still recognizable even though Rowley "draws like a five year-old." [11] He stated that he enjoyed writing the book and that it is his favorite book in the series, [12] because he likes how Rowley is unable to keep the book's focus on Greg. [11] When asked if the series would change to focus entirely on Rowley, Kinney confirmed that he will continue to write main-series books, but that he would also "really like to write more Rowley books," because "it's a lot of fun, and I think it's really fresh, and [Rowley] can write in lots of different styles about lots of different genres. So I'd really like to get to there, where Rowley is authoring lots of books." [11] The following year, a follow-up to Rowley Jefferson's Journal, titled Rowley Jefferson's Awesome Friendly Adventure, was published. Rowley Jefferson's Awesome Friendly Spooky Stories, another sequel, was released in March 2021. Robin Hood and Tarzan are among the public domain characters that Greg mentions. Both of them are the title characters of Disney movies released in 1973 and 1999, respectively. The people left got a ride home from Santa and Roland even invited the One-Eyed Wizard and Righty to live with his family then celebrated Christmas together.

Breakout Character: invoked Rowley never quite realizes it, but Greg is really determined to see Garg become this trope. Stink Snub: The pixies react this way to the arrival of the trolls when Roland sets out to mediate a truce between the two races.

"Jeff Kinney to Expand 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid' World". Publishers Weekly . Retrieved 29 March 2019. Rowley starts his diary by explaining that he started writing in one because his best friend, Greg Heffley, owns one as well. In the second entry, Rowley shows his diary to Greg, who accuses Rowley of copying him. Greg then comes up with the idea that Rowley's journal should be Greg's biography. Rowley complies, and changes the title of his diary from Diary of an Awesome Friendly Kid to Diary of Greg Heffley by Greg Heffley's Best Friend Rowley Jefferson. Ich hoffe nun sehr, dass es auch noch einen dritten Teil geben wird. Über weitere Bände von Gregs Tagebuch würde ich mich zwar mehr freuen (Gregs Reihe gefällt mir einfach besser), aber auch Ruperts Serie mag ich wahnsinnig gerne. A shorter Wimpy Kid story from Rowley's point of view was written to celebrate World Book Day 2019. Kinney later developed it into a full-length book, becoming Rowley Jefferson's Journal, because he enjoyed writing it. [9] He decided that he was gonna save his mom, so he went down his basement and put on Bampy's old armor and was ready to go on a adventure.
