About this deal

You do look just like your mother,” the man said. He finally showed some sign of emotion only after he finished observing her face. His clear, sharp eyes stared right at Blondina’s. The girl’s name was Blondina. She’d worked as a clerk at the inn since her mother passed away. Her life at the inn was arduous. Her hands were swollen from the tedious work, and she was often bullied for being clumsy. However, as an orphan, she had no better choice. It was either this or being sold to an old pedophile. My Gently Raised Beast, Volume 1 is another brilliantly-made manhwa adaptation from Ize Press, with some great comedic beats and a lovely, if somewhat generic, heroine. While the first volume isn’t a stunner in its own right, we think the series shows definite promise; if you already read widely in this genre, then My Gently Raised Beast will certainly find a good home on your shelves. Set in a dynasty plagued by strange, magical creatures, this is a Cinderella story unlike any you’ve ever read before. Blondina is beautiful and kind, but she wasn’t born into privilege. When her estranged father discovers that she is his daughter, he offers to move her into the royal palace—with strings attached. Her only consolation is Amon, a supernatural creature who has proved himself a faithful and trustworthy companion. Together, Blondina and Amon begin to challenge the age-old divide between humans and beasts.

Fortunately, the storytelling is much better done in the novel, with the plot points better fleshed out and explained without feeling like an exposition dump. I suppose it's just the difference you'd typically expect from a novel's adaptation. As she watched the man raise his hand once more, the girl clenched her teeth and closed her eyes tight. She felt the blow to her head when she closed her eyes. Soon enough, the blood from her nose stained her clothing bloodred. On that note, the characters are much like the plot. Because they aren't given the opportunity to grow and overcome trials, they are also very bland. Amon is an unconvincing love interest. I don't believe the romance at all. Bridey...or Blondina...IDEK anymore, the translations always seem to change their names. But then again, that's not the author's fault. Anyhow, Blondina is equally as bland but she's even worse cause there's nothingcoolabout her. She's got no powers, she can't turn into an animal, she doesn't seem to have any emotions other than being content and "pleasant" which is fake and completely not like a human. People are MEANT to experience emotions! Joy, anger, disappointment, lust, fear, pride...these are all emotions everyone is SUPPOSED to experience regularly. To make a character so "pleasant" and like a saintess is bad. I don't understand authors that do this. When you strip away everything that makes a person human then they are just an empty shell. There's nothing to see. Food - We cannot ship any food products which are easily spoiled or require storage at a low temperature e.g. meat, dairy. Blondina is living a real-life Cinderella story. After growing up poor and enduring a difficult childhood, she discovers that she is a princess of the Ates empire. However, her estranged father and half-siblings give her the cold shoulder when she moves into the palace, and Blondina must keep a low profile. That all changes when she befriends Amon, a cat-like creature with mysterious intentions. For years, creatures like Amon and humans have struggled to live in harmony. Can Blondina and Amon’s friendship bring peace, or will it deepen the rift between their people? Characters [ ] Blondina Ryun Ates [ ]

My Gently Raised Beast Chapter 67

As she pushed open the heavy wooden door of the shop, the dry air mixed with the smell of perfume welcomed her. It smelled exactly like a place fancy ladies would visit.

So I completed the series, overall it wasn't too bad a read for me. It wasn't deep, engaging or amazing in anyway. But it was fun to watch all of the light hearted cuddling. The story suffers from poor build up and execution but over all I think I could recommend this to someone. For the rest of the world: For most countries, we use DHL Worldwide Express or FedEx. The average transit time is 5-7 working days.

I told you my mother left this to me, telling me it was the only legacy left behind from my father!”

Two days ago, the owner who left her alone in the store returned shortly, accompanied by the feudal lord. Looking at their spotless skin and imposing posture, she knew they weren’t just ordinary people. Their beauty was incomparable to an average man, and they were entering the room in an organized manner as if they were trained to do so. The man slowly turned to his servant after letting the parrot fly away and brushing off the remaining birdseed on his hand. As he lowered his indifferent face, the sunlight vibrantly shined down, giving light to his beauty. That was how Blondina was taken to the castle, where she had been staying for several days now, still not knowing why she was brought there. The art style is fairly standard but in a good way, its above most other manhuas that either put too much detail or not enough. The story itself, while entertaining enough, is fairly predictable, you will be surprised very little. The characters can stand on their own well enough, most are very well developed and we get growth from alot of them. The pacing ranges from too fast to not fast enough, allot of chapters wind up discussing things that were already discussed and take too long doing it and they do it on mostly pointless things as to give the male lead more chances to flirt with the MC. The actual worldbuilding is limited as we only know of the other countries but only ever see one, in fact I think there’s only 5-7 locations in the whole story that they just alternate between expanding by about 2 more by chapter 90, but even then its really hard to tell where the characters are at any given point in most scenes.

Discussions

Instead of answering, the man continued to examine the features of her face, intrigued by her attitude. Her blond hair and her beautiful, sparkling eyes. Her gray and crystal-clear eyes reflected her upright character. The story goes at a turtle's pace. Definitely steady...but maybe a little too steady because I'm ready to fall asleep reading it. The plot is also rather lame. [As @ctrlist said, it's a repetitive cycle of Blondina being unreasonably forgiving to her villainous step-sister, which is why...] It's not creative, enticing, or even slightly interesting. That's probably the main issue with this manhwa. If you don't have a well-constructed plot, your characters will not be able to developproperly because the story puts constraints on them. The art is good. It looks up to standards like most historical fantasy romance webtoons. If I had one thing to complain about, it's that I sometimes don't like the way they draw the eyelashes and fingers. Please also note that Harumio is not responsible for any possible extra fees charged by the courier. My Gently Raised Beast doesn’t have the most auspicious of starts; if you’ve read any shoujo or josei fantasy drama in the last few years, the opening beats will be awfully familiar.
