She and Kat were high on my list of suspects but as the story continued more cracks appeared and I started wondering about our perfect little Liz. From the very first chapter we know that a murder has been committed, and the reader is instantly drawn into the book.

It’s the first day back at school, and protagonist/teen student Liz and her best friend, Taylor, are at a memorial assembly for Morgan, the head girl of the Academy. In her own mind she seemed so scared and shocked about things, an unreliable narrator has to have a reason why they are unreliable to us.

I mean to be fair it helped with keeping readers hooked on but the amount of deaths occurring in such a small interval was crazyyy. After last year’s tragic boating accident left head girl Morgan dead and narrator Liz hospitalized with a head injury, Liz is looking forward to her final year before graduation. Setting the book in a remote school without internet access gives a real sense of menace as the body count rises!
