About this deal

It works in exactly the same way as a classic stovetop espresso maker (put water in the bottom chamber, freshly ground coffee in the middle, heat on the stove to send coffee bubbling up into the top chamber) – but is sleekly made from high-quality 18/10 stainless steel rather than the classic faceted aluminium. The stylish Italian brand Bialetti brings luxury coffee makers to the market. You will find percolators, cafetieres, milk frothers and more in the broad Bialetti collection, including some of their most famous products, such as the Bialetti Moka Express. The brand delivers very high quality products that ensure a luxurious look in your kitchen. Bialetti's products are authentically Italian and can be found in 9 out of 10 Italian kitchens! Since its formation, Bialetti has been one of the largest players in the coffee maker market. Choosing BIaletti is a choice for quality! Bialetti Moka Express How much stronger is the coffee than drip? I know it can't get to espresso strength. Will it be different in any other ways compared to drip, like texture? Fill the base with water to just below the level of the safety valve. Be careful not to overfill as the air in the space between the water and the coffee filter is what heats and forces the water up through the coffee. If the water tank is overfilled the result is boiled coffee, with a bitter or burnt taste. If your beans are ground more finely, the brew time will take a bit longer because the steam extraction is forced through a more dense grind. DO NOT TAMP THE COFFEE OR RUSH THE BREW PROCESS. 2-3 minutes actual brew time once the coffee starts percolating out of the top chamber port is key. Espresso grind may be too fine for this pot. It should be a bit more coarse but still finely ground. Experiment and take notes on the settings for your particular grinder.

I watched some videos that said to remove the gasket for cleaning and storage, but I haven't been able to get the gasket out. It seems like I'd have to pry it out somehow, but I'm worried about damaging it. Using Bialetti Venus is a 100% sustainable way of preparing your coffee, as it produces no waste, is cleaned without detergents and with little maintenance it will last a lifetime. Bialetti’s legacy of quality and reliability lives on in these lines of coffee makers crafted in high-quality 18/10 stainless with ergonomic, heat-resistant handles. Now everyone can have the beverages they crave and a look they love.

What size Bialetti gasket do I need?

If you’ve ever used (or even seen) a stovetop espresso maker, it’s thanks to the founder of this company, Alfonso Bialetti, who invented the classic aluminium moka pot in 1933. Ever since then, Bialetti have focused on marrying world-renowned Italian style with equally famous Italian coffee, creating a range of espresso and coffee makers that deliver an amazing brew.

Cleaning instructions: Bialetti Venus must only be cleaned by rinsing every component with simple water, do not use any detergent nor put it in the dishwasher, as it damages the product and the taste of your coffee The man with the moustache is Renato Bialetti, the son of the inventor of the Moka, Alfonso. It was designed in 1953 by the Italian artist Paul CampaniTo produce an authentic espresso in minutes, simply fill the bottom with water to just below the valve, add your favourite espresso ground coffee to the funnel and gently heat on your stovetop.

Remove immediately from the heat once coffee pot is full. Do not allow to boil and do not put on full heat as this may cause the coffee to have a burnt taste. Made to last: Venus is made of top -grade18/10 Stainless Steel, resistant to high temperatures and maintains its shape and shin over time. Before using the coffeemaker for the first time, it’s a good idea to wash all the parts in hot water first. The Bialetti Venus is NOT dishwasher safe. New Venus sizes are measured in Espresso Cups (1 Oz). Coffee can be enjoyed in Espresso Cups or in larger containers: for example, a 4-cup Venus will fill a mug nicely. Venus is the ultimate combination of tradition and innovation: the original coffee maker to prepare an authentically aromatic Italian coffee, in a unique design shape also available for induction cooktops. Loosely fill the funnel with your favourite ground coffee. (We recommend a medium-fine grind. Medium-fine will feel gritty when rubbed between your fingers, not powdery). Experience the Italian way of preparing a tasteful coffee with the Bialetti Venus Pot, with its unique shape and long-lasting materials. The historic gentleman with the moustache on its front is a guarantee of the originality and quality of a Bialetti product.
