Please take care that the dropper doesn't touch your eye, your fingers, or any other surface. This could contaminate the drops left in the bottle.

Make sure that the single-dose container is intact before use. The solution should be used immediately after opening. To avoid contamination or possible eye injury, do not let the open-end of the single-dose container touch your eye or anything else. Wash your hands before use.The following additional adverse reactions have been identified during postmarketing use of Celluvisc in clinical practice. Because postmarketing reporting of these reactions is voluntary and from a population of uncertain size, it is not always possible to reliably estimate the frequency of these reactions. Caremllose 0.5% can be used in case of a severe dry eye syndrome or more immediate protective action and lasting relief. Certain medicines should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding. However, other medicines may be safely used in pregnancy or breastfeeding providing the benefits to the mother outweigh the risks to the unborn baby. Always inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy, before using any medicine. There are a widevariety ofover-the-counter treatments, which can help patients with milddry eye disease. Over-the-counter treatments for dry eye disease are available in several differentformulationsincludingdrops, gels, creams, ointments and sprays.Some oftheseformulations are known as ‘artificialtears’. soaking a flannel in warm water (not hot) and gently press it on the area around your eyes – this makes the oil produced by the glands around your eyes more runny

These eye drops are unlikely to have any harmful effect when used during pregnancy or breastfeeding. However, as with all medicines, these drops should be used with caution by women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, and only on the advice of a doctor. Reporting suspected adverse reactions after authorisation of the medicinal product is important. It allows continued monitoring of the benefit/risk balance of the medicinal product. Healthcare professionals are asked to report any suspected adverse reactions via Yellow Card SchemeFor patients with uncomplicated simple dry eye only. In patients needing ocular lubricants following eye surgery or those with compromised eyes use single dose units and discard after single use.
