About this deal

This title of the Dorset Crime series is finally the one where things gain momentum concerning the DCI Mackie murder investigation. Having been seriously injured by a bomb in Birmingham, DCI Lesuses Clarke had the choice of retiring or moving to a quieter patch.

It doesn’t matter too much though, if you want to read Deadly Origins first or at any point in the series, it won’t spoil the other books. Sewing binding for longer life, where the book block is actually sewn (smythe sewn/section sewn) with thread before binding which results in a more durable type of binding.A team of professionals has expertly processed each page, delicately preserving its content without alteration. Dennis having been arrested and multiple murders on her doorstep and taking her back to Birmingham, her old stomping ground.

Note: Zoe appears in these books as part of a storyline that’s separate from the main series storyline in the Zoe Finch books. I absolutely loved The Corfe Castle Murders, so it's a good thing that book two The Clifftop Murders comes out later this month. BEATRICE WILSON: In July 2000, 74-year-old grandmother Beatrice Wilson was stabbed at least 10 times as she lay defenceless on her bed in sheltered accommodation at Millfield, Creekmoor. A newborn baby girl found washed up in a bag on Weymouth beach, in 1981, died from compression of the neck, although she was judged to have been healthy when born.Just as Lesley feels she is getting closer to answers, she's forced to work on the other side of Dorset after a body is uncovered by a landslide at Lyme Regis's beach. If the original book was published in multiple volumes then this reprint is of only one volume, not the whole set and contains approximately 48 pages. Always the copper, Lesley and Sharon quickly make their way towards a deeply distressed young woman. It was Leila Ford, his young girlfriend who found the body, leaving everybody bewildered since he was supposed to be in London at the time. A suspect that had admitted the abduction and rape of at least six other women was later identified, but it was heard that there was not sufficient evidence to charge him in relation to Jo Ramsden.

Lesley and her team must unravel the evidence and find the real killer, while also investigating the disappearance of local journalist Sadie Dawes. When we first meet Lesley it's in a pretty picturesque setting with her daughter - although that quickly changes and shows the temperaments of them both. Detective Constable Johnny Chile is suspected of providing information to Arthur which he uses to play others in his community. She finds herself at the heart of unsolved mysteries and her natural interest in people (or rather, her nosiness) helps her to solve them.In fact, she always found jobs where she had to do anything to do with putting together training documents, briefing notes and press releases among other writings.
