I can't even leave the baby with someone so I can have an afternoon to catch up on the housework or the laundry becoz they can't feed her, and she feeds on demand so I can't even guarantee a window of time.

Anyway about 5 days in he stopped poo-ing and for 3 days in a row he took 6oz!! Then on the 4th day he did the hardest poo I've ever seen him do after that he's been ok-ish. Emergency: Reliable in an emergency, ie: ‘Geez, I hope I never have to use it’, shelter for a dodgy, exploratory, day trip. By the time Elsie is bathed and sees daddy ready for me to put her down, I end up not eating tea til like 9pm. I then have to clear it all up, grab a shower, and get to bed myself so I'm not too tired to take the 14mile round trip to get Elliot to school through rush hour traffic and a deadly bit of motorway!

It was at Deep Pass, in the Blue Mountains, which is roughly a 500 square metre bowl of an area, with a creek running through it, with dry canyons nearby. The temps dropped to 0c and the area around the top of my sleeping bag (where my breath was warmer than the air) and surrounding area of the bivvy was wet, quite wet… I’ve been using the bag so far throughout May, June and July in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney, with overnight temps ranging from 0-7c, however the air is generally quite dry. It will be interesting to see how it performs in more humid conditions.
