The smart fence is one of our most requested items. we sell more of these than most other gallagher dealers. These work great for any fencing need you have. We have sold these to people who have lost fence from traffic accidents, where drivers plow down a fence... and keep on going... it works great until that repair can be made. Here’s how we use the Smart Fence system on our farm in areas without existing goat fence. In this example we are using 3 Smart Fences.

Movable fencing, also known as mobile fencing, is a temporary enclosure that is easy to move. This often involves the use of lightweight, easily transportable posts in combination with electric wire and a mobile electric wire device. Mobile fencing is the ideal solution for dividing your pasture into multiple (small) sections. Mobile fencing is often used in a sheep pasture, for example, using our fencing nets. Fencing materials The height of the fence varies depending on the situation and the animal you want to fence in. Discover which fencing is best for you. An electric fence is a barrier used to keep your animals safely within your enclosure or to keep other animals out. Fencing is also very suitable for dividing pastures into multiple sections. Types of fencing With the SmartFence 2.0 you get yourself a mobile fence of 100 metres. Set set consists of 10 posts, 4 wires and 4 reels. The set is convenient, easy to take along and to stow away. The wire distances from the ground are: 15 cm, 30 cm, 50 cm, 70 cm or optionally 90 cm.

The height of the top wire is 107cm/42 inches (including post's metal tread-in spike)- or 90 cm/35 and a half inches from the foot of the post. Fence height per species The energiser can also be operated and turned on/off from the external display and you get immediate notification of power loss e.g if a branch has fallen onto the fence or a wire has been cut.The SmartFence is recommended for use with animals already trained to electric fencing (or trained to the Smart Fence or SmartFence 2)
