The history of the Leffe brewery started in 1152 with the foundation of Notre-Dame de Leffe. This abbey was inhabited by Premonstratensian canons, monks for whom the values of charity, welcome and hospitality were at the heart of their way of life. Many pilgrims were able to find refuge in Leffe Abbey. We have three different sizes of beer keg at Beerwulf, with some requiring additional equipment to pour. There are more than 40 beers to choose from, including Belgian classics to crisp lagers, hoppy IPAs to refreshing wheat beers. Breweries include big-name producers such as Stella Artois, Budweiser, Hoegaarden; classic breweries such as Leffe, Kwak and Lowenbrau, and modern craft beer including from Tiny Rebel, Goose Island and Thornbridge.

BLADE Kegs have an 8 litre capacity (that's a lot of beer!), so provide 14 pints per keg and requires the BLADE appliance to use.

Leffe Blonde is an authentic blond abbey beer with a slight hint of bitterness and a full, smooth and fruity flavour, which is followed by a strong and surprising aftertaste. And each keg features detailed product information about the size of the keg, the compatibility with your beer dispenser - IPS kegs, PerfectDraft kegs, standard kegs - as well as the strength, colour and style. Closed due to various events during the Revolution, the Abbey nevertheless rose from its ashes in 1929. The brewery and its know-how seemed to be definitively lost, but in 1952 it began to be revived in its turn. They were so successful that very soon the output was no longer sufficient to meet the growing demand of Leffe beer lovers. In the 1970s, the Leffe brewery received significant investment and financial support from other breweries, which merged together some time later to form the Interbrew brewery (the origin of AB inBev).
