I would repurchase this and I have used one up in the past, maybe I’d get a different scent though that my boyfriend likes too! Another fruity favourite, our Swipe It Lip Balm will give your pout a moisture hit and silky smooth finish. It smells exactly like orange soda and orange juice, definitely an artificial orange scent, and it even leaves shimmer!

Castor oil is sourced from the castor bean plant native to tropical areas in Eastern Africa and the Mediterranean Basin. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. The latter one, the humectant property, is surprising and comes from the unique property of ricinoleic acid (the dominant fatty acid in castor oil) having an extra water-loving -OH group on its otherwise oil-loving fatty chain. One of my favorite things about this lip balm is the adorable little plastic tub it comes in, it is so nice and the little label with the lips on it is so cute. Similar to other plant oils, it's loaded with nourishing and moisturizing fatty acids: it's a high linoleic acid oil (70%) and has only smaller amounts of oleic acid (11%) ( this might be great for acne-prone skin).

It is also more glossy than other oils, in fact, it creates the highest gloss of all natural oils when applied to the skin. You can simply apply it by using your fingers, which I know sounds a bit unhygienic, but unless it’s only you using it and your fingers are all clean, then it’s fine. As an example, it mentions that Ci 19140 may cause itching and hives in some people but the colorant is always labeled so that you can avoid it if you are sensitive.

They are pretty moisturizing, I’ve heard so many people saying that these aren’t moisturizing but for me they are. I think it product is targeted to the younger audience because the range has these funky names like Satsuma Shimmer, Raspberry, Strawberry and Pink Guava. The scent of this is AMAZING, it literally smells just like a strawberry Ring Pop and strawberry licorice.This does have a strong scent so as mentioned above this is the passionfruit scent which I absolutely adore but my boyfriend doesn’t. A community for those wanting to cut down on beauty consumerism, while finding inspiration in your existing products!

I did find it a little sticky (for girls that may be an issue with longer hair) but not for me :) It tastes and smells amazing.I also got back into these in University and picked up this flavour which I loved and then promptly forgot about them until a friend bought me a couple. I’m really happy I got this lip balm, it turned out to be a really good product and I look forward to trying more of them in the future! Being very orangey it doesn't leave any colour on your lips and is very neutral - its more the gold shimmer you see when your lips hit the light.
