There are ⚠️trigger warnings ⚠️but it’s mostly triggers that are spoken of, some actually happen and that’s murder, abuse (at least makes you think at first), self harm, kidnap, physiological damage of a child and body mutilation. If anybody has been in a situation like any of the events in this book then it may not be for you. The idea of hiding secret messages in any creative piece is an old one, but imagining a real serial killer who does it for fun, ecstasy, celebrating her or his ingenuity or the mentioned vengeance is a new, interesting form of evil. Of course, it would lead to the same modern art disputes as seen around the world, the one describing it as something each low IQed, primitive, animalistic hillbilly killer could do, while others see it as the next big thing of a truly sophisticated murder genius. Probably both of the groups won´t really bother much with thinking about the victims and be more obsessed with talking about the ingenuity of the next big killing installation.Tracy's personality felt flat and I didn't like her style either or to be honest anything about her. The calling cards left at the scene in and around the body of the victims suggest something and someone with purpose, and someone possessing the kind of hate and evil few people are capable of. However, with no connection to the victims or the lyrics, Hunter after 10 days is no further forward in solving the crime. Later, Robert comes to know that all the victims were killed in ways that they most feared. Also, it turned out that the worst nightmares of all the victims had come true. The most important question that bothers Robert Hunter is that how did the killer each of the victims and what was the link between all those random victims? Ono što mi je najveći adut Karterovih romana je ta psihologija, psihološka strana cele priče i objašnjenja na kraju, gde vam se cela priča razjasni i sa te strane.It´s one of the deeper, more meaningful, and social criticizing parts of the series, not just a maniac without a real agenda besides destroy, rape, eat, and kill, but someone who has really good reasons for revenge. This whole >> society, social media, the youth, whatever is evil and finds gore and torture entertaining << is another, far more complex thing. Depending on who is asked one could get dozens of different theories, thesis, discussions, duels, and battles until death, and explanations out of the shallow waters of many humanities, not even including new weirdo cyber pop psychology. This book introduced a secondary female character, Alice Beaumont, that matches Robert's genius mind. At first, I think that she will be quite interesting as love interest for Robert. But as the story goes, I don't like that Alice seems to take the spotlight from Garcia, Robert's partner. I like Robert and Garcia's camaraderie and friendship ... and I feel like it is a bit missing. I even miss Anna, Garcia's wife. I always look forward to reading this series, it is so consistently good and always succeeds in leaving me in awe. Η αστυνόμος στην ίδια Διεύθυνση Μπάρμπαρα Μπλέικ, ο Ντένις Μπάξτερ, επικεφαλής της Δίωξης Ηλεκτρονικού Εγκλήματος της Αστυνομίας του Λος Άντζελες και η Μισέλ Κέλι, επικεφαλής της Διεύθυνσης Δίωξης Ηλεκτρονικού Εγκλήματος του FBI, πραγματική ιδιοφυία στη χρήση των υπολογιστών, ικανή να χακάρει σε δευτερόλεπτα διαδικτυακούς σέρβερ και on-line βάσεις δεδομένων, σπεύδουν προς βοήθεια, με τα θύματα και τους θεατές να αυξάνονται γεωμετρικά με κάθε νέα δολοφονία.
