Original Loewe 7 is slightly noticeable, however the subtle clove note is surrounded by resinous dry prefumey spice. Anonimo is quite a bit different, more complex and better in my opinion and I really enjoy original Loewe 7. Aromatic, Crisp, Dry like parchment, Proper, Light Smoke, intoxicating and quite pleasing. Well done Quentin Bisch from Givaudan. Maybe it’s just the way that the notes are combined together…In any case, the combination of berries and conifer immediately gives 7 Anónimo a lovely Christmassy vibe. It’s an abstract, silvery plastic thingamabob (a picture here is really worth a thousand words). The sprayer itself is built into the cap; you spray by depressing the top of the bottle, which is emblazoned with the Loewe logo. For me personally, this is pretty much solely a winter fragrance. Incense already has a wintry association for me, but the Christmassy vibe cements 7 Anónimo in wintertime. I prefer to wear drier, spicier scents in the autumn, and bust out scents like 7 Anónimo in winter. Whichever season you decide to wear it, though, you at the very least need cold weather to pull this off. The new deep and intense Eau de Parfum for men from Loewe, Anonimo, is a new version of the original Loewe 7. Among seven key notes of the composition, the first that stands out is incense, balanced with a woody base to provide elegance and masculinity; leather notes enhance the Loewe 7 character.

Fazit: Ich bin enttäuscht. Nicht nur wegen der Angaben hatte ich mir da mehr erhofft, sondern auch wegen des sonstigen Hintergrunds. Meine Probe habe ich nämlich aus der Hamburger-Hof-Parfümerie. Ein außerordentlich gut sortiertes Geschäft, welches ich allein deshalb selten besuche, weil mir die, sagen wir: „taxierende Grundhaltung“ der einen oder anderen dort tätigen Person nicht recht behagt. Geäußert hatte ich, dass ich es am liebsten nischig mag. Daraufhin den vorliegenden Duft auszureichen, finde ich befremdlich. Was ist an dem denn „nischig“? Der Duft empfängt mich weich und rätselhaft mit sanftem süßlichem Pfeffer, begleitet von unsakralem Weihrauch.

Gegen Mittag gibt’s kurz was Harzig-Kokelig-Stichiges, bevor ab dem frühen Nachmittag immer deutlicher ein bloß anfangs noch von Vetiver verbrämtes Kunstholz hervortritt und die Frische sukzessive verdrängt. Nach ganz hinten raus wird der Loewe praktisch vollends zahm und vergeht in einem diffusen und einigermaßen beliebigen Holz-Creme-Dunst. Die Dauer des Parfums ist gut, in meiner Haut waren es ungefähr 7 Stunden, mit einer mäßigen Projektion, was nicht schlecht ist. Wenn es größer gewesen wäre, würde es die Note der Unterscheidung, die die Leistung an Ihrem Punkt hat, subtrahieren , nicht mehr und nicht weniger. All of that combines together to lend 7 Anónimo a somewhat festive air, despite the dark and heavy notes. But this isn’t really a playful fragrance; the base grounds it firmly and solidly in the manly man camp, with a chord of rough and tumble leather, almost dusty labdanum, sandalwood, and vetiver. Beyond that, the fragrance doesn’t evolve all that much, keeping on playing its dusty tune leather with a bright, almost juicy layer hanging over it. The scent smells a bit more synthetic than I’d like, but it’s fantastically well blended and smells extremely pleasant, so I can’t fault it too much. The performance of Anonimo corresponds to an EDP. The fragrance on my skin lasts a good 8 hours before it becomes lighter. It lasts even longer on my clothes.
