About this deal

That was with my Noctua Industrial PPM-3000 RPM high static pressure fans running at 100% speed on my Kraken X63 AIO radiator. Can somebody please explain how in God's name Honeywell's PTM 7950 or 7958 is supposed to outperform EVGA Kingpins KPx or Thermal Grizzly Kyonaut Extreme? This 29mm x 25mm edition thermal pad is designed for use with a range of devices such as CPUs, GPUs, active cooling systems and much more. Liquid Metal is top but it kinda bonds on the top layer of the cpu IHS and it’s like impossible to clean without removing also the lettering which makes selling the cpu way more difficult.

I recently upgraded my system to a 7800x3d and an Asus RTX 4090 and heard some stories about the fast pumpout effect of thermal pastes on the GPU because of the very high power consumption and therefore high heat generation. New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging .So all I did was just put kapton tape all around the die and PCB outside of the substrate, applied just enough so that it wouldn't have any chance of spilling oveer, even if the deck went to through some vibrations, had to do some reapplies due to copper absorption issues, but the temps have now been perfectly stable for 3 months and has not gotten worse. Pro tip is to use a bit larger and put some small thermal paste dots in the substrate corners, so it sticks while you align the heatsink on. CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1800X | Motherboard: MSI B350M Mortar Arctic | GPU: MSI GTX 1070 ARMOR OC | RAM: G. KryoSheet contains no liquid components and is therefore not subject to normal aging, as is the case with traditional thermal paste. even though I have some thin polyurethane air conditioner foam (and an even thinner strip I got in something I bought that I don't remember), the contact pressure is so anemic on that heatsink with those tiny screws and zero clamping pressure bad excuse for a pressure mount, that any dam would just hurt temps.

Because the pads do not have to be replaced at regular intervals like thermal paste, there is no need for extensive maintenance.

A few years ago, Thermal Grizzly released Carbonaut which was a tiny carbon sheet with the idea it could replace paste. Apart from the front page you might find him on the BOINC Forums or possibly the Fraggin' Frogs if he has the time.
