About this deal
converter cable that I am waiting to be delivered to see if plugging the device into an external USB slot will solve the problem. The original SP-RGB fans run a completely different protocol for the RGB than any of the other fans. With the above wiring guide, you can see how to connect an H150i ELITE LCD XT AIO with 4x QL120 RGB fans.

You'll be able to select the Hydro X curves in "Cooling" as long as a Hydro X device is set up under the "3-Pin Lighting Effects" tab. The Commander Pro has 6 QL 120mm Fans powered and all 6 lighting wire are connected to 1st USB Lighting Node.
Can the Commander Core XT potentially in the future, replace both the CoPros and the RGB Fan LED Hubs, since RGB Fan LED Hubs are already discontinued.

So im building a new pc with a 5000x and an h150i elite lcd with one extra SP120 fan and i was wondering if i should get the core xt or commander pro. I know that all of the fans work because I get each fan to turn on, spin, and display the default RGB setting. The Commander Core (AIO - package contents) is connected to the passthrough port of the Commander Core XT. As far as iCue, I am not at home right now so I do not know the exact version number but it's whatever is most recent.Using its included COMMANDER CORE, I would then connect the H150i's three fans and three front fans. Now I know the Capellix comes with the "Commander Core", but I believe that's only enough to run the radiator fans, and 3 more fans for a total of 6. the core non-XT only support those 6 RGB fans, the XT version has an extra RGB port to connect your strips/more fans. But reading what you wrote, it would seem that I would not be able to alter the color scheme or fan speed on these fans as they are not the same ones used on the H100i?

If you cannot connect them directly to the motherboard via USB 2, some users have successfully found a work-around by getting a USB 3 -> USB 2 adapter so they can use the extra throughput on the MB USB 3 port.I really really don't know what else to do, I could try making a clean install of the operative system but I'm not sure if making all that effort would fix anything, any other ideas? On my setup I have 8 Fans total, now I only have 6 Fans directly to The Commander Pro and I have 2 Lighting Nodes connected to it.
