Includes download code for entire album plus the tracks "Realiti" and "REALiTi (Demo)", minus the track "Butterfly". copies came with an additional fold-out lyric insert/poster (with identical graphics to the standard matte finish edition) printed on glossy paper and signed in silver metallic marker by Grimes. I first bought the Limited edition translucent pink vinyl off Rough Trade and then managed to purchase the white signed vinyl but the finishing of the two vinyls seem different. Grimes is the multimedia project of Canadian artist Claire Boucher (born March 17, 1988, raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, later moved to Montréal, Québec).

Think of Enya on cocaine, breathing too much helium, with some synthesiser riffs as if borrowed from Durutti Column ("Genesis" synth lines remind of "Blind Elevator Girl"), all too much but never enough reverb and amorphously oblique lyrics.And yes she wanted to keep the album as a 1LP to save resources since the longer songs/we appreciate power would of only covered half on the 2nd lp if she decided to do it! Unfortunately, mine has quite a bit of surface noise, including a lot of repeat whooshing, particularly on side B. On repeated listening, this tiny kitty creature performing her adorable "miaows" throughout the album may be pretty annoying - but for those keen on giving it a chance, it is a rewarding little listen. Grimes had a relationship with businessman Elon Musk 2018-21, that produced 2 children (Musk's 5th and 6th, and Grimes' first two). The first catalogue number and bar code are on a sticker over-laying the catalogue number and bar code printed on the sleeve.

The series has both a comic book series and televison show series and has a cult following in real life as well as online, spanning Walking Dead Comic Con style conventions, zombie walks, plus tonnes of fan content. CD and digital versions feature "So Heavy I Fell Through the Earth", "My Name Is Dark" and "IDORU" in their Art Mix forms; the vinyl features these songs in their Algorithm Mix forms. The white one has a matt finish to the packaging and the booklet doesn’t feel as good as quality as the signed insert which came with it which had a glossy and stronger finish. Mine didn't even come with a download code, pretty bummed since I think realiti was worth including in some form. One of the greatest albums i've ever heard and the best sounding 33rpm vinyl a have so far(it would be hard to find a better one. While Grimes's music visions provide nothing new under the sun, it is undoubtedly one of today's examples of hipsterism bringing out some positive connotations after all. i don't like forced 2x12" but if they made that with the art mixes i'd take it cause the edited tracks just aren't the same (plus, perfect opportunity to use her preferred cover art).
