These were the first "real" speakers I bought, and I've owned them for quite some time now. I used them for my computer desk at home, but ended up replacing them with some KRK Rokit 5 G3's years later. These ended up going to my desk at work. The remote sensing technology used in these speakers is quite strong, that you can use them from another room. The volume buttons on the remote work perfectly. However, if you want to control the speakers’ bass and treble, they are located on the side of the big speaker. Compatibility The sound produced by the Edifier R1280T has a strong lower end that you can feel through the little port grille on top of each one. However, the 1280DB's slightly larger subwoofer allows it to produce an even stronger bass. The bass sounds great, but it can be overpowering at high volumes.
It allows you to compare the performances of different speakers before even laying your ears hands on them. With a frequency response of 75Hz – 18kHz, I was a bit worried about the bass not feeling wide enough, however, I was pleasantly surprised by the bass output. The 2.0 speaker system fitted in them will give out a sound that will never compromise no matter what kind of room you place it into. Because it turns out that in the mid 90's, Electrical Engineer PhD Floyd Toole came up with a method called Spinorama. This is exactly what he accomplished with this. Turns out that his book Sound Reproduction is like the bible of audiophiles. At the bottom, there are optical and digital phono inputs that have a power switch at the upper left part of R1280DB. While on R1700BT, it has equal Connection yet dissimilar output cable, which you still to attach to a separate speaker since only one has power. The dome tweeter helps with the high frequencies, and the bass driver helps with the lower midrange. The tweeter is set at a higher frequency so as to not be drowned out by all of the other noise that may exist in your environment.If you utilize a line-level connector, control knobs can be found on the right side. Both models have this knob, and with bass that starts at -6Db to +6db for the tremble starts from -6db until =6db, as well as the volume knob. Perhaps most crucially, the sound is reasonably even, with no particularly prominent boost to the bass or treble. PC speakers in particular often try to use bass or treble to sound more powerful and detailed than they really are. Here, however, you just get a reasonably even sound.

The source code under Pierre Aubert's work is licensed under GPL (General public license). He didn't perform any of the measurements himself, and instead he compiled all of them into one place, so that makes sense. Its accurate sound phase makes us feel very comfortable. It seems that it is not a problem to play pop music in this kind of sound, which is at least enough to satisfy most users. Conclusion I loved the way Edifier approached the control panel on the right-side speaker. The darker colors used on the concave element add a little something to the overall design. The dials themselves feel brilliant, with a firm response that doesn’t at all feel cheap.
