Additional information From pulling the rolled mattress out of the box, using the cutting tool to remove the plastic and then getting the Emma Original onto a bed frame, the entire process took a couple of minutes at the most. Emma advises leaving the mattress to inflate fully for two to six hours before using it, but ours was at full height within two hours. If you can’t unbox your Emma on the day of delivery, don’t leave it in the box longer than four weeks otherwise you risk damaging it.
