This diaphragm/washersuits the older model inlet valves with screw caps, often likened to compression joints where you have to unscrew the top to get to the washer Please note insert colour may vary. All red, red & white or all white, this indicates year of manufacture and has no effect of the function of the washer Although I needed only one of the items, within the kit, the small top-end washer, it immediately worked, which came as a great relief! My only concern is the durability of the replacement: the defective washer was part of the new valve unit that has been in service for only a couple of months.
