The spicy evergreen scent fades quickly and the woody base is all that's left after about 20-30 minutes. Oak moss, of course, is here along with a very lightly animalic leather, but what stands out is a birch note. I seem to choose this one more for daytimes than for evenings, and it always puts me in a positive frame of mind. I'm happy to report after getting some air in the bottle, and the wonder of time, this pickled pepper opening has greatly subsided and mellowed. What I mostly pickup from the silage of this is Vanilla and Tobacco with a little floral at the background.

As it dries down it eventually becomes a bit leathery -- but I can never smell the leather in the beginning, interestingly.It projects for only about 10min then settles down to faint skin scent for a couple of hours, after that no scent can be detected.
