Patricia Wolf is a mystery and thriller novelist that is best known for the “DS Walker Thriller” series of novels. With multiple new and previously introduced characters, Wolf then delivers a satisfying, way above-average police procedural full of interesting characters and plots and does well in breathing life into her characters – even the villains. Together, Lucas and Barbara manage to put together a reasonable investigation while also forging a friendship upon which each could trust and depend upon the other.
