This is the first narration I have listened to by Eve Webster, it was good and there nothing wrong with it but I just didn’t quite enjoy this Lesley Pearce as much as some of her other books that I have read or listened to, perhaps due to a mixture of the story and the narration.

It wasn't bogged down in historical fact that can become tiresome to read instead it felt natural and informative. As a freelance makeup artist and an avid reader, she is able to marry the two together in a unique way.Verity was privately educated, living in a beautiful Hampstead home, while Ruby was being raised in extreme poverty. The obvious overkill of a man stuffed in a trunk of a car is just the beginning of this who done it with plenty of possible suspects. Lesley Pearse is a naturally gifted storyteller and it's not every author you can say this about and truly mean it. My one and only complaint regarding Dead to Me is that I read it far, far too quickly (even though I had it in my possession for a few weeks I had been keeping it for when I got my summer holidays) and I really should have eked it out and savoured it a bit more. Marzilli has her finger on the pulse working closely with publicists to make sure her readers hear about AH-mazing books. Each book is of such a high quality, I've said this several times before but I know plenty of people would agree with me.
