About this deal

Since 1982, PCMag has tested and rated thousands of products to help you make better buying decisions. See how we test. A Beautiful, Eco-Friendly Design Ultimately, you should invest in a turntable or record player that is the ideal choice for your needs. Some factors to consider include what type of turntable you want, your budget, design and feature preferences, and how often you will actually use it. DOES A BETTER TURNTABLE ACTUALLY SOUND BETTER?

Discover size-defying sound with our Chant Mini wireless speaker. This compact powerhouse boasts 6 hours of crisp, balanced audio and impressive bass for its size.

Product Highlights

SUPERIOR SOUND: Chant Mini is engineered with a 2” active-passive combo driver for dynamic sound with less distortion at high volume. Experience powerful, crisp sound for the ultimate listening experience wherever the day may take you. Experience our signature sound with eco-conscious speakers that deliver superb sound clarity and rich bass. Custom adjustments ensure accurate mid-tones and vibrant treble, emphasizing quality and performance. Enjoy House of Marley's genuine, tradition-inspired sound, knowing your choice benefits both your ears and the Earth. STAY CONNECTED: ECO-FRIENDLY BLUETOOTH SPEAKER SELECTION

Built for adventure, Chant Mini features durable materials like solid bamboo, a splash-resistant design, and a removable carabiner to clip to your belt or bag for easy portability. There’s no app, which feels like a missed opportunity to allow more user control, especially EQ adjustments, but the pricing is low enough that this is a minor complaint. Clear and Bright Audio Both speakers have a 1-inch tweeter and a 3.5-inch woofer, delivering 20 watts total. They're compatible with Bluetooth 5.0 and support the SBC Bluetooth codec, but not AAC or AptX. Despite the potential headaches dual speakers present in terms of pairing, we had no issue pairing with an iPhone 8 on our first try. Unless you’re trying to power a house party, there’s more than enough volume on tap with the House of Marley Get Together Duo. It gets plenty loud. So, whether you’re using it for a computer setup, a small get-together, or even in a listening room paired with the House of Marley’s Stir It Up turntable, you won’t be wanting for volume. Finally, you could take a hybrid wired/wireless approach, using a combination of the RCA/aux inputs and Bluetooth. For example, you could connect (say) a turntable to the left speaker via their wired RCA or auxiliary connectors, and then wirelessly connect the left speaker to the right one via Bluetooth.
