Transitions (a project of Exeter Community Initiatives) are running a series of workshops designed to help you connect with your tech. If you consider yourself a beginner with your phone, laptop or tablet, this could be perfect for you. The books were illustrated by Robin Davies and Jerry Smith. Phil Jacobs, Creative Design and Railway Series illustrator Clive Spong have also worked on the illustrations. There is a large children's library overlooking Rougemont Gardens and a separate teen area, as well as 34 computers which are free to use for up to 2 hours per day and printing and copying facilities. Take your seats as this team of talented actors and musicians present a magnificent evening of theatre, musical numbers and show-tunes, made-up on the spot and inspired by your stories.

Strummy Mummies is a new ukulele group, brought to you by the Mobile Music Hub in partnership with Exeter library. Need a little help with your tech device, but not able to book one of our Tech Buddy sessions during the week? This book is based on the story, "Trouble in the Shed" from the Railway Series book, Troublesome Engines. Your little one can join us for fun-filled weekly sessions as they take their first steps into football. If you or someone you know needs a little help getting to grips with a phone, laptop, or tablet, book a 30 minute sit down Tech Buddy session with our dedicated staff on Monday's and Wednesday's.

In partnership with Libraries Unlimited and Ability, this workshop is delivered by Transitions, a project of Exeter Community Initiatives, and is open to adults living in the Devon area. Bringing ideas, imagination, creativity and knowledge to enrich people’s lives and build thriving communities. My Thomas Story Library was a series of books published by Egmont in collaboration with HiT Entertainment. The stories featured in some books were loose adaptations of original Railway Series stories by the Rev. W. Awdry and Christopher Awdry, as well as adaptations of television series episodes. A few of the books also adapted Railway Series stories that were skipped in the television series. The blue Austerity tank engine next to Percy in the workshop resembles Wilbert. This can be confirmed by looking at the engine's colors. In addition, there is a red saddle tank engine that resembles Percy himself, albeit without any visible facial features. Kevin is the only book to feature a story that is not based off the television series or the Railway Series.

This service is run by Devon County Council. A special edition of the series which allows parents of Thomas fans to have their child written into a story as a character, who has a special birthday trip with Thomas. A Christmas themed variant of the above, plus the option to add a friend of the participating child. There will also be a range of free workshops taking place in the library from Chloe Whipple’s Do Your Dance Club, Exeter Seedbank and more! This programme is open to boys and girls aged 2-5 of any experience level and even includes the opportunity for parents to get involved if they wish to do so! In this interactive Storytime session, kids will have the chance to meet Winnie the Witch herself, and her multicoloured moggy, as well as creating a colourful Wilbur of their own.

There are 6 computers available for free for up to two hours per day and printing, copying and scanning facilities are available with free WiFi throughout. The library can be hired for events and meetings. Description: The Wonderful Dreadnought South West’s Rebellious Sounds Archive is now in residence at Exeter Library until mid-December. Every Wednesday during term time from 10am -12pm, we're hosting a FREE meetup for families with younger children to explore, learn, and have fun together.
