There are many "Drawing Made Simple' books on the market today---BUT-- I found that they seem to have copied Andy Loomis's techniques or jump you into: GREY'S ANATOMY"While I mostly just scanned/gleaned through this, I do think this has a lot of decent material concerning some fundamentals of art while encouraging creativity, which is really good for beginners at any age from heads, posing, and perspective. We thus “arrive” at the outlines that are needed instead of guessing at them. Only the most talented end experienced artist can draw at once the final outlines. As you proceed to build all sorts of shapes out of simpler ones, it is amazing what you can do with them, and how accurate and “solid” the resulting drawings will appear.
