Babies often sleep in cycles of around 40 minutes, so it is designed to help them get through one full sleep cycle after which time they may be in a deeper sleep and no longer need rocking. Simply attach to your pram or stroller, push the button and adjust the speed to gently rock your baby, just like you would.
There are a selection of speeds so you can find the one that works best on your particular mattress and soothes your baby the most effectively. Most commonly it will be mounted on the side of a stroller at around 45 degree angle and should work well like this. I was however hoping that the motion would help them stay asleep longer in the buggy but unfortunately it did not.Helping parents on the go, this handy must-have pushchair accessory keeps babies moving and snoozing while out and about. First problem is that it operates on 4 x AA batteries and they don’t last long - cost us more than nappy’s at one stage!
Our own children still slept in the pushchair up to age 3, so we think it will be useful for several years if bought at birth. It seems to be able to take a few knocks, but I recommend turning it inwards on the handle so you don't catch it on doors etc. I love how small, compact and easy to use it is as it just lives in the bottom of my pram and I can use it whenever I need.My only small complaint is that it isn’t quick to change from one pram to another, the screw mechanism does take a while to get on and off but it is very sturdy when it is on. However, I'm sat enjoying a lovely, peaceful picnic for the umpteenth day in a row while my baby snoozes peacefully in his pram, thanks to the Rockit! FINACNE TABLE START ------------>
