To me, you either use Connoisseurs or Naturally light Tonic from Fentimans or the light Indian Tonic from Fever-Tree, Period! Gin Mare Capri starts with a premium barley base, combined with a delicate maceration of 48 hours and independent distillation process of each botanical, finalized by its signature blending which allows all the characteristics of each botanical to be expressed in the result. Our citrus are peeled by hand and then macerated for 12 months in small aluminum tanks.

You either use connoisseurs Tonic or naturally Tonic from Fentimans or Refreshing light Indian Tonic, Period I found Gin Mare paired with 1724 tonic water in Norway and it was delicious! I was able to get 1724 in the states until the pandemic and then the supply chain issues seemed to disrupt the process. It’s still my favorite gin and I now use Q tonic water. The peels of both bitter and sweet orange and regionally grown lemons are macerated for a year in neutral spirit before distillation. Gin Mare continues to bottle up the Mediterranean lifestyle to share with the world, by launching a special edition gin as homage to the majestic Italian island Capri.
