About this deal

Once the chocolate is melted remove from heat, and stir in the Brazil nuts. Make sure they are thoroughly coated in the chocolate. Then comes the tedious bit. Take each one out and place it on the baking sheet. Try to ensure none are touching so they are individual nuts rather than a cluster. The idea is to eat 1-2 a day not a whole bunch, remember this is for our micro nutrients. Yeah, keep telling yourself that Di! Ok it’s just me that calls them selenium bombs but hey the name might catch on right? So let’s get down to bizness and get this recipe underway. I say recipe, but there are literally two ingredients… can you even call that a recipe? Recipe: Chocolate Covered Brazil Nuts

Firstly you need to melt the chocolate. Add water to the saucepan and place on a medium heat. Break it up the chocolate into small pieces and place in the silver bowl, then place the bowl on top of the saucepan to create a ban-marie. The chocolate will melt but shouldn’t burn. Ensure you stir it occasionally. While you’re waiting for the chocolate to melt, line the baking sheet with parchment paper. Eat them plain - Brazil nuts have a rich flavour without adding anything extra. So, if you like their natural, woodsy taste, eat them as they are. Originating from Brazil, Peru and Bolivia, Brazil nuts are popular for their wellness benefits.
