They still have the same scented body wash and hand lotion for some reason but not the fragrance and it’s discontinued indefinitely. It smelled absolutely amazing and I was so in love with it. The middle notes are the real winners here with Coconut and Ylang Ylang. It is like sipping coconut milk on a salty beach with sand between your toes. The middle notes make the scent sweet and floral with Vanilla and Orchid. The Vanilla Absolute is a sweet and comforting note often used in synthetic fragrances, known as Vanillin. It has a pleasing cookie-baking feeling to it which is warm and welcoming.

The Vanilla Vibes Juliette Has A Gun is similar to Brazilian Crush. It all comes down to the sweet Vanilla in both the perfumes, which makes them identical. Vanilla's richness and creaminess make Brazilian Crush a sensational fragrance. Those who grew up having cooked coconut in food or desserts will smell that in this. I don’t get popcorn at all, it really smells like coconut cream or toasted coconut, and also a bit like Malibu rum (i think the alcohol you get when you first spray is contributing to this haha). In Kenya (and East Africa) there’s a Swahili coconut dessert called kashata, it reminds me of that too! It’s gourmand and edible not like a shower gel/soap/lotion type of coconut scent. I would also use this to layer with tropical fruity scents like Zara Hibiscus 🌺 (this combo is GOOD and affordable!), SDJ’s Anitta or Mango Skin 🥭 etc. I think the spray and the coco cabana cream together would be too intense. Id try it with the bum bum cream instead. The top notes include Salt, which is a very versatile note. It can make any fragrance exclusive, no matter what the base is. I find the smell a bit too synthetic for my liking, but my sister and friends love it and always spray it on themselves. Funny scent, although overly sweet. The coconut is really creamy; I smell the pralines. I think this is what I imagined Pink Sugar would smell like. I personally love it 100% more than Brazilian Crush, which I find basic and generic. This one has more character; a simple, cute fragrance. I wouldn't recommend blind buying (as I did) bc although the coconut, vanilla, praline are present, I find them special, very unnatural, almost headache inducing - which is a style, a type of scent and I see how people would like them! I sprayed it on a tshirt first day I got it and I can still smell it alot on the same shirt and in my room 2 days later. So definitely has lasting power on fabric. I have bought/gifted all except 68, Sea & Sol and Tropical Nights (basically all the new ones) and i have the new pink Tan Lines on the way. Beachside will leave you feeling like you just stepped out of the shower and covered your body in coconut oil and lotion. The Coconut in the heart of Beachside and the end notes of Powdery Coconut are not easy to miss. They are dominant and very much akin to the grand Coco Cabana by Sol De Janeiro.
