About this deal

This book will stay with you forever - And by that I mean you will never let it leave your side, lest one of your devious double crossing family members decides to steal the secrets of the silver head for themselves. Apart from the treasure hunt the book itself has little interludes giving insight into the world of Little Alex Horne. its a nice book and I highly recommend it but ONLY if you have lots of time and are ready and willing to go down countless blind alleys. There are tasks to do on your own, tasks to do with your family and friends, and tasks for bigger groups too.

We are very excited to announce the release of a new Taskmaster book, Bring Me The Head Of The Taskmaster. A lot of the little quiz questions are far too hard for my brain to understand but he seems to be able to answer most of them. Even if you are just trying the tasks on your own, you'll be left with all these new personal benefits - not to mention the usual fun and joy you would expect from Taskmaster! This book contains both a wide variety of task suggestions (explain earth to an alien, count the number of squirrels you see in a year, you know, usual stuff) and an absolutely enthralling, overarching puzzle that will have you tearing your hair out in the best way possible. However, what I noticed about these tasks (more than I noticed with the previous book) is that so many of them really seem to encourage you to broaden your horizons, learn new skills, try new things, think a different way. Alex's mind is a horrifying labyrinthine nightmare and being offered just a little peek inside it is a true honour. In 2011 he compered "The Horne Section", a comedy variety show with live music which was later broadcast on BBC Radio 4. Horne was educated at Lancing College (Fields House, 1991–1996) and the University of Cambridge, where he was a member of Footlights. On January 18, 2007, Horne became the first ever comedian to perform in Second Life for a feature on Sky News.

He made his first appearance at the Edinburgh festival in 2000 with his show, "How To Avoid Huge Ships". As of April 2010, Horne is attempting to become the oldest man in the world with the Long Live Alex project. This is a race with many twists and turns, that requires very little running, much sideways thinking and quite a lot of patience. It has 101 tasks that will entertain you, your family and/or your friends and bring a lot of laughs and joy. Two months down the line I'm still diligently working on the treasure hunt, the end is definitely not in sight and the winner could be anyone, but it's been good fun in the meantime.
