The title character in Mr. Daydream is, as one would expect, just a daydream of a bored schoolboy, and he is woken up by his teacher at the end of the book. The Animated Adaptation ends with an Or Was It a Dream?, with Mr. Daydream making a final silent appearance and waving to the viewers. Mr. Snooty: Uh, now that is most extraordinary! Yes! Upon my word, that is a kangaroo flying a kite. Skintone Sclerae: Almost none of the Mr. Men or Little Misses are drawn with whites to their eyes (Mr. Sneeze is a notable exception). In Little Miss Bossy, Wilfred the Wizard is traditionally human shaped and isn't referred to by his name. Also, Mr. Nosey is replaced by Mr. Chatterbox, and Little Miss Sunshine replaced Mr. Happy. By 1976, Hargreaves had quit his day job. In 1981, the Little Miss series of books was launched and in 1983, it also was made into a television series narrated by Pauline Collins and her husband, John Alderton. Although Hargreaves wrote many other children's stories—including the Timbuctoo series of 25 books, John Mouse and the Roundy and Squarey books—he is best known for his 46 Mr. Men and 33 Little Miss books.
Road Trip Plot: The 2018 book Mr. Men: Road Trip has the Mr. Men and Little Miss characters taking a bus across the United States to visit various landmarks such as the Statue of Liberty, Niagara Falls, New Orleans, Yosemite National Park and more. Roger passed away in 1988 after and rights to his works were handed over to family. Mr. Men creation was handed over to Viviane Cohen (writer), Evelyne Lallemand (translator) and Colette David (illustrator) in the 1990's. The trio added Mr. Brave, Mr. Grumble, Mr. Perfect and Mr. Cheerful to the library, and Mr. Brawler and Mr. No to the French-exclusive library. He's been turned big five times throughout the series: in Little Miss Magic to the Rescue by Little Miss Magic, in Mr. Small - A Big Day Out by a Wizard, in Mr. Happy and the Wizard by Mr. Happy, in Gardens by Mr. Nosey, and in Machines by Little Miss Naughty.

Mr. Nonsense, as befits his name, has a truly nonsensical way of looking at the world.
