About this deal

I've broken this blog post into two sections for ease: Gluten Free Easter Eggsand Gluten and Dairy Free Easter Eggs. However, watch out for supermarket-specific products which you won’t find elsewhere (such as M&S, Morrisons and Aldi products) though I have made an effort to name the specific supermarket in the caption below each photo so you know where to find them. I've swept the supermarket shelves of Asda, Co-Op, Morrisons, Sainsbury's, Tesco and Waitrose to find all the Easter eggs which are gluten free. It's bursting with fresh orange flavor and a hint of real vanilla bean which gives it an orange creamsicle flavor twist - yum!

All of the Easter Eggs in this section of guide, at the time of writing, are gluten free and safe for people with coeliac disease. Ocado always has a good selection of Easter eggs, many of which are gluten free. They also have a good selection of dairy free including some more luxurious eggs from the like of Booja booja that you would not find in supermarkets. Easy to Make:Very easy to make, but I do recommend using a citrus press for ease of squeezing the fresh oranges! Have you found any other gluten free Easter eggs or noticed any changes to this list since it was published? An orange-flavoured, smooth milk chocolate egg, presented with a chocolate orange bar flavoured with real orange oil. Two Twix bars, including one white chocolate and one milk chocolate, covering a layer of caramel and biscuit, alongside a hollow milk chocolate egg. Here’s all the animal-shaped treats (and a plane!) that are generally either hollow chocolate or mini chocolate bars.

There’s actually a lot to choose from, including some more exotic options like the Booja-Booja eggs. I’ll let you discover the price of those for yourself though… just make sure you’re sitting down first! Also, please don’t assume that last year’s products are always gluten-free. Some products such as Smarties Mini Eggs or Milkybar Mini Eggs are no longer gluten-free, even though they used to be ok in the past. There’s a Cadbury’s Caramel Egg in this post that’s gluten-free. BUT other Cadbury’s Dairy Milk Caramel eggs (which come with a bar and have the extra text ‘Dairy Milk’ on the front) are NOT gluten-free. Most plain chocolate eggs are free from gluten but sadly some have 'may contain' warnings which mean they are not coeliac-safe. As I mentioned, most of these are down the seasonal Easter aisle so it can be a literal Easter egg hunt to find the right ones. So make sure you allow yourself enough time to make sure you’ve got the ones pictured which are safe for us to eat. In Waitrose, you’ll find a few exclusive own-brand eggs that more than make it worth the trip over, but watch out as there are lots of own brand ones that do contain gluten or have may contains too.
