About this deal
It was given life when Finn dropped it near a flower at the swimming hole in the Cotton Candy Forest, which was growing on top of the head of the Ancient Sleeping Magi of Life Giving. Although at times impulsive, aggressive and short tempered, Finn is a kind, brave, selfless, and righteous boy.
A future Finn then takes his red sleeping bag when he and Jake leave to help Lady Rainicorn, also leaving a note of advice telling Finn to use his real name. With its intermediate skill level and easy-to-follow instructions, even beginners will find it a breeze to create.
Early on in the development of the show, Ward had intended for Finn and Jake to be nomads who lived in tents. In " Billy's Bucket List," Finn is told by a deceased Billy that his father, Martin Mertens, is still alive and is trapped in the Crystal Citadel. In " Breezy," it regrows from the Grass Sword's flower into a fully normal-looking arm, only with a thorn coming out from the middle of his palm; this was effectively the dormant physical form of the Grass Sword.
This is the second appearance of the Ancient Sleeping Magi of Life Giving, the first was in " Mystery Dungeon. In " Come Along With Me", Jake and Jermaine discover Finn's vault, which contains a manifestation of his greatest fears and insecurities. Finn and Jake both grab a sausage each and dip them in milk, while Little Dude struggles to get out from under the bowl.In Legends of Ooo, it is seen that Finn has a telescope that he uses to spy on Princess Bubblegum and Flame Princess. Finn's relationships with both Princess Bubblegum and Flame Princess cause him to have to deal with rejection and reconciliation, and he emotionally matures as a result.
