Cover sleeve shows ringwear and shelf-wear (creasing around opening and paper rubbing on spine and edges.). Insert with band pix and liner notes very good. Some scuffing on media otherwise plays good with low surface noise. Private collection. The original release is the only one to have. I am not familiar with a remastering that comes close to the Ludwig 1980 version. Anyone telling you different has not heard the original. Record has some minor scratches, otherwise plays/sounds great; 'GEORGE' is written in texta on the Side 1 runout. Outer sleeve has significant ringwear. Photography By [Inner Sleeve] – A.J. Pantsios*, Chris Walter, Frank Griffin, Idols (3), London Features, Michael Putland, Mike Kagan (2), Retna (2), Robert Ellis (4), Ross Halfin The 2009 Vinyl reissue (Barcode: 5099751076513) is digitally remastered and over compressed. It seems the Vinyl has the same digitally master source like the 44/16 CD. Very poor in details. The cymbals sound unnatural and clogged.Aussie issues on many many records are good to get for that very reason... you know that the overall quality of the issue is higher. I really don't remember Bon Scott that much. I really don't have ANY OTHER AC/DC album but this one! What could possibly TOP it?! I wore out my original copy for 35 years or so, & then I SOLD it for much more than I originally PAID for it, EVEN AFTER having enjoyed it for FREE basically for all those years. "A SOUND investment" I would say.

This pressing sounds really firm and tight in the bass, mid's and highs. Great drum sound. Brian is centred without a ocean of reverb (remember Fly on the Wall? 😂). I can highly recommend this pressing. Goods that are faulty or sent in error must be returned to Crash Records Limited, 35 The Headrow, Leeds, LS1 6PU within 7 working days of the item being received by the customer. Aussie presses are very very good, and they generally did not stretch the life of the stampers to far, because the population base was so small, they were not compelled to. I bought this when it was originally released. The album has a "Stereo One" label on both sides. The sleeve has quite a few age related wear marks.SP" found at the end of the etched matrix number in the runout and the label matrix &"E A S T" embossed around the center hole denote a Specialty Records Corporation pressing.

Includes insert. Media has scuff marks and has a bump on Side 2, song 1 and there is a little surface noise but generally plays fine. Sleeve has a tear on edge and spine wear. The bottom edge is 75% worn. No ring wear. Comes in new plastic inner and outer sleeves. Graded conservatively Its sort of an unwritten ideal to not stamp past 300 presses with a stamper, so if they stretch to 500 ..and beyond, then the quality will deplete....and the further you go, the faster it depletes. well, it seems it's not a bad pressing in general but there are some copys that do have flaws. My LP sounds not totally bad but a bit lifeless and muffled sometimes and on "Given The Dog A Bone" it seems there's a Gremlin sitting in my Amp and messing with my Midrange. I have some sort of wave throughout the song. up, down, up, down, etc.

Will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Comes with insert. Cover has the usual ring and shelf wear, nothing too serious. No spilts or tears. Record plays well after ultrasonic cleaning, despite a few faint marks here and there. Sleeve has had a hard life with various dog ears and wrinkles, some ring and rubbing wear. Complete with insert. Maxicut 1st pressing.
