About this deal

With the full hardware set weighing in at a measly 7.8kg, and all housed in the included carry case, you'll be skipping down the street with your hardware no problem.

The biggest cymbal I've mounted on one is a 20" crash. I'm sure I'd run into some issues if I were to mount it at maximum height, and then lay into it like the bastard offspring of Lars Ulrich and The Incredible Hulk. But I play it at an average height, and though I don't beat the crap out of my gear, I definitely put it through the paces, and so far, all's well. For the past 5+ years or so I’ve used a combination of DW and Yamaha. Yamaha hi-hat, snare stand and bass drum pedals. All my cymbal stands are DW flat based 6700 & 6710 series stuff. The DW stuff has taken a beating and certainly looks like it but it still works. The Yamaha stuff still looks brand new and performs flawlessly.Yamaha really pulled out all the stops with their Crosstown Hardware. Through years of research and development designed to discover just how light you could make a stand without losing the stability a professional drummer requires. Please note that this extended warranty is currently only available on products sold within the UK, EU or EEA, and is subject to the terms and conditions as detailed on the extended warranty certificate provided. As well as local VAT, you may also have to pay any duty that is due if the goods were not made in the EU or UK.

After a solid 3 months of week-in week-out shows, I caved. Mounted the tom off my bass drum again. Looking at/feeling the inside of the down tube, I saw no signs of wear. My concerns seemed to be for naught. Tama is a well-known brand in the drumming world, and its lightweight hardware sets are no exception. Tama offers several lightweight hardware sets, including the Roadpro series and the Classic series. Compared with the overall weight of your other hardware, would you say that it really is 50% lighter? Collection and delivery costs are included for the first 2 years in the event of an item becoming faulty If an item can not be repaired, a similar alternative product or cash discount (as defined in this policy) will be offered

Before that, I was all Tama for a long time. Pedals, thrones, all the stands. The stuff was built like a tank and weighed about as much. It always worked. No failures. To their credit, this was right before the general movement in the industry towards lighter stuff and Tama didn’t have that in their lineup to the extent that they do now. One of the main benefits of Gibraltar lightweight hardware is its price point. Gibraltar hardware sets are generally more affordable than other lightweight hardware sets on the market, making it a great choice for drummers on a budget. In conclusion, lightweight hardware is a great choice for drummers who are looking for a more convenient, portable, and comfortable option. Yamaha Crosstown, DW 6000 Series, Tama, Pearl, and Gibraltar all offer quality lightweight hardware sets, each with its own unique features and benefits. When considering purchasing lightweight hardware, it's important to weigh the pros and cons of each brand, consider the compatibility with your drum set, and determine your budget.
