About this deal

The connection strength is by far my favorite feature on the headset, as no matter where I moved to in the room, the connection was perfect. I was even able to move to the room above my test PC and have a connection (albeit unstable), which is something the Corsair Void Wireless couldn’t achieve. One other aspect I love: You can configure whether each program runs in 2.0 Stereo or 7.1 virtual surround individually, through Synapse. Want Spotify to output in stereo while playing a game in simulated 7.1? You can do that. Secondly, try to make sure there isn’t a similar issue with the charger either. It is more than possible the charging cable users are powering the headset through might be broken. That’s why it’s recommended you try charging it with another cable and/or on another outlet to confirm this isn’t the case. If neither this nor the previous solution were helpful for you, move on to the ones which we’ve listed below.

Razer’s great variety of gaming hardware products is one that a lot of people love, and this variety is arguably the reason why the brand is as popular as it is today. One of the many great products which they have in store for users to enjoy is the Razer ManO’War. Audio quality seems slightly better than the HyperX Cloud Revolver, though both headsets provide great audio. Razer also provides an equalizer in their Synapse software that makes it very easy to tune the sound profile to your liking, and with some minor tweaks you can make this headset sound even better than its 'flat' profile out of the box. The HyperX Cloud Revolver, for example, uses a ton of padding around the headband as well as a suspension system that makes it more comfortable to wear for extended periods.Set the Sound Normalization to +10 (reduces the treble just the right amount so you won't get that ear-scratching feeling)

Razer ManO’War USB is attached to your PC USB port to allow you to have a great wireless experience while gaming. At times the USB is not attached perfectly and you will hear the beeping sound on your Razer ManO’War due to this problem. Generally speaking, the audio quality aboard the Man O’War is very good. The experience begins with the wireless connection, which is very easy to set up. Razer supplies a thumbnail-sized USB dongle that provides up to 12m of wireless range, as well as a 2m extension cable – useful if you have your device out of direct line of sight. One of the headlining features of the ManO'War is its virtual 7.1 surround sound, provided by the included USB dongle. Normally the headset connects to your PC or device through a standard 3.5mm TRRS connector, but this connector can be inserted into the USB dongle for surround support. After the dongle is attached to your PC, the ManO'War appears as an eight-channel sound device to games and applications.

Razer's 7.1 surround sound implementation is superior to a number of other solutions I've tried, particularly after you calibrate the headset using the utility in Synapse. When each channel is properly tuned for the best directionality, the ManO'War provides a surprisingly good surround sound experience for a pair of headphones. Sounds moving from the sides to the front are excellent, and although rear audio channels still feel like they are above my head rather than behind at times, overall I was impressed with the headset in this regard. title=More%20Expert%20Tech%20Roundups&type=articles%2Cvideos&tags=tech-roundup&count=6&columnCount=6&theme=article
