About this deal

Readers can expect a great deal of heart, soul, emotions to the highest degree, and several laugh-out-loud moments sprinkled within this novel. Lovely blue hues accentuated the illustrations throughout this entertaining and educational "lesson".

star star star star star This book has such a beautiful message - we all have differences, whatever they may be for us individually, so every single person can relate to this book. To pay for all this adventure, Alli has worked in education for over 20 years in San Francisco and Seattle - from an overcrowded, cacophonous public high school to a pristine private girl's school. It was a cute story but there was a lot of commentary within the book that I found a bit off putting. I have been following Peet on YouTube for quite a while now and so when I discovered that he was releasing a memoir, it was a no-brainer for me to get it. Feeling that he wanted to be little like the rest of his family and at the same time being bullied at school even though he is tall, this is not a fictional book, it is fact. The YouTube Shorts star, whose videos show what it’s like to be a tall person raised by a dwarf mother, is the co-author of a new children’s book titled Little Imperfections: A Tall Tale of Growing Up Different.

That being said, I found the book not only cringe-worthy and predictable, but also incredibly insulting in more ways than one. But it turns out that Etta’s career goals aren’t the only shock Josie’s about to face—her job, her romantic life, and her own Aunt Viv have plenty of surprises up their sleeves. I don’t read a lot of children’s picture books, but I thought that this one had a great message, and I enjoyed the illustrations. A rollicking good read that reminds us that money, power and influence will never be enough to make someone truly happy. They provide expert and detailed descriptions, disclose all significant defects and/or restorations, provide clear and accurate pricing, and operate with fairness and honesty during the purchase experience. I really enjoyed this book, I loved learning, seeing and reading his story, but the only complaint is that, I feel like this book shouldn't have been classified as a children's book, maybe more so YA or adult to be honest, just with some of the topics that this book kinda talks about. After nearly two weeks of having mediocre reads that are aiming straight for the DNF pile, Tiny Imperfections single-handedly saved the slump I was in!

It follows a family with dwarfism who have a child that is "regular" sized, and how it felt to grow up this way. I bought this book for my daughter as she's a big fan of Peet Montzingo and we both love it so much. Peet Montzingo is a multi-faceted artist with a curious and kind heart, whose talents span creating original content, singing, comedy, and so much more. The two authors have known each other for ten years, which has allowed Sands to form his own relationships with Montzingo’s mother and siblings. And even though Josie just wants her daughter, Etta, to attend an Ivy League college and major in something practical, Etta insists she wants to follow her ballet dreams and study dance at Julliard. Now that she’s almost 40, she’s the director of admissions at Fairchild Country Day School, an ultraprestigious private school in San Francisco. Frank and Youmans pack their debut with drama…The glitzy, high stakes world and gossipy narrative voice will put readers in mind of Crazy Rich Asians. I wish I could quote the numerous distasteful things I ran across, but don’t really want to mark this with spoilers. I have been following Peet on social media for a while now and have been looking forward to reading this book! I hate when straight authors will just plop in a gay character for "diversity points" and fit them nicely into an overused and, frankly harmful, trope.
