It’s certainly a good bar, but then we’ve come to expect that from Grenade by now. It’s nothing groundbreaking and it’ll never replace a Terry’s Chocolate Orange, but it is a decent bar

I’m impressed once again, but as I said, fudge brownie is a pretty standard flavour. It’s not my favourite of the bars so far, but it’s absolutely worth a try, if not only for a break from your average protein bar. The Armoury - Grenade Bar Flavours It makes a nice change and it’s certainly better than the Chocolate Crunch the brand brought out a couple of years ago, but I’d go for the Fudge Brownie bar over this any day. Like most of the other, newer flavours, at 226 this bar has a few more calories than the older range. The carbs are also a little higher at 20g, but this is matched by Grenade’s standard 20g of protein. Grenade have even switched up their usual ‘structure’, swapping the soya crispies for peanut chunks in the chocolate layer. Protein bars can be a healthier alternative to chocolate bars, offering additional nutrition. When eaten in moderation, they can be a great addition to a healthy, balanced diet and can help you to achieve your fitness goals. Are protein bars good for you?

The milk chocolate coating is, as expected, silky and sweet, whilst the nougat-y base is dark and rich, adding that hint of saltiness so beloved of an Oreo biscuit. I will definitely be eating this on the regular, but it gets an 8.5 because in the end, it is just a chocolate crunch with orange flavouring… Birthday Cake 5/10 Grenade protein bars are the UK’s best selling bars and with the huge range of flavours available it’s easy to see why.I can’t decide between the white chocolate and milk chocolate Oreo bars, so I simply won’t. 10/10. Grenade Bars – Best to Worst Basically, the banana flavour is the artificial flavour that’s a just that little bit too strong to be real banana.
