About this deal

We were both very impressed with the easy installation of the stroller, it was so simple to put the wheels on and go.

Laura’s current stroller is bulky, heavy and certainly not practical for travel and with Matilda able to walk the majority of places on her own (she’s very fierce and independent) spending a large amount of money on a stroller that might only be used on long walks or when Matilda is tired seemed simply wasteful. Overall both myself and Laura have been delighted with the Chicco Ohlala stroller also known as Kevin. This pushchair is so light – the perfect travel companion. It’s got a detachable bumper bar to make popping your child in and out easier, and the seat has an adjustable leg rest and good recline for comfy snoozing. It’s easy to fold – doing it with one hand requires some practice, though – and it’s very compact when folded. What they said:Ohlala, surprisingly lightweight, incredibily sturdy ... so light weight that you can lift even with one finger! Attractive and modern design, Chicco OhLaLa has been designed to ensure maximum comfort to both parents and the child. Easy to lift, easy to drive and easy to move, OhLaLa is the perfect for any mum." Tested by mum Rachel Foye for the Mother & Baby awards 2018: I think our only fault with the Ohlala stroller is the wheels, they are made of lightweight plastic and don’t quite glide over small bumps as some others do. Matilda felt the bump going over a small curb but didn’t seem to mind. My toddler enjoyed sitting in this stroller and I found the bumper bar was extremely useful. I felt my toddler was secure and comfy within this stroller. The basket is great and easy to access, although I do prefer a bigger basket. It's easy to fold and use and the design is lovely and modern – I loved the colour of the hood. Extremely ultra-light it weighs only 8kg meaning it is easily lifted. One handed folding and self standing once folded in a super compact shape means it is easy to assemble/disassemble when carrying other items, or children, in your arms. The reclining seats, adjustable lefrest and extendable canopies allow parents to choose the best configuration for each baby to keep them as comfortable as possible when on the go. The extending canopy with a hidden zipped segment further provide additional shelter to little ones in adverse weather conditions. The one joined handle means the Ohlala Twin is very easy and agile to drive, even with just one hand.

I assume this is due to the frame being lightweight it then can’t quite handle too much weight. This was our only issue with the Chicco Ohlala stroller. Appearance This is very easy to open and fold, but I didn’t manage to do it with one hand. Because it’s so light, it’s ideal if you’re lifting it in and out of the car a lot, and it fits in the boot really easily. The shopping basket is a good size, but it doesn’t take much in terms of weight – a box of laundry powder made it give a squeak from the added strain! Tested by mum Kate and Albert, 18 months: This product is lightweight and easy to manoeuvre and the system used to fold the pram up and down is easy to use. The seat reclines well when my child is sleeping and it does not disturb them or wake them. The pram also has a canopy to help keep the sun out baby’s eyes.I wouldn't choose this product again for the reasons stated above. I personally didn't like the height of the push chair, being 6 ft the handles were positioned too low – it made me feel conscious and like I was pushing a dolls pushchair! I didn't like the positions of the seat; the most upright position was still quite reclined compared to other pushchairs. I didn't like the style of the seating – it looked quite cheap and in my opinion quite dated. I didn't like the fact it didn't feel very stable and like it could collapse any point. The basket at the bottom was quite small, and obviously the handles wouldn't take a changing bag so there wasn't much room to put my baby’s bits. This product is good value for money and I would suggest it to mums who have a budget, as it is a good price. It is very easily folded and can be stored in an upright position without falling, perfect for storage in a small hallway. It also folds down nicely to go into a boot. Unfortunately when it came to going out for the day the pram was too large for the boot, along with Frankie wanting to take his bike everywhere.
