About this deal
The flashlight is sealed and tightened down with 6 screws from factory – disassembly is not recommended. A good rate for a 280mAh cell, though, given that it’s close to 1C – similar to charging a 30Q at 3A. As IP66 rated, ultra lightweight and little finger sized, the TIKI / TIKI LE has a primary max output of 300 lumens constructed from PC (V0) materials.

If the light is reactivated again within 3 seconds of turning off in demo mode, then the light will temporarily enter daily mode and stay on until turned off with the power button. The Nitecore TINI 2 is an intelligent keyring light with an impressive maximum output of 500 lumens from the 2 x OSRAM P8 LEDs and is powered by a built-in 280mAh li-ion battery. At these lux levels and distances, being out even a small amount can change the numbers quite a bit. Compared to the previous model, Nitecore TINI2 uses a new generation USB-C format port protected by a rubber cap (which provides excellent adherence and protection to the USB-C socket) for integrated charging. The package with which the new TINI2 arrives is the classic cardboard box with the two black-yellow colors. With the flashlight both on and off, press the POWER and MODE buttons simultaneously to switch between the DEMO and DAILY modes.

We’ll leave it to you to decide which you prefer, but either way, they’re both easy-to-carry accessories that can hang off a sling or backpack’s loop. The Beta QRv2 has a more typical flashlight shape, just shrunk down to the size of a keychain accessory. There is no knurling on the light but the recessed groove for the dual switches and keychain clasp attachment helps to provide some “grip”, even with wet hands/gloves. They are handmade and will keep your tea leaves, coffee beans or anything that you need dry for years to come.
TINI2 - NITECORE
Unless I turn the light on right against a wall, the hotspot is very circular, but looking at the TIR I can’t see any evidence of them being angled towards each other. Mode spacing appears to be progressively brighter to the eye and the modes are well spaced enough to be able to know which mode one is currently in. When you turn it on or switch brightness, the OLED display will show the amount of of lumens, followed a flash of the word “NITECORE” as sort of a loading screen, followed by a constant countdown of the amount of time you can use it until the battery runs out.The advanced temperature regulation module allows the TINI 2 to regulate its output and adapt to the ambient environment to maintain optimal performance.
