This had serious potential. The vibe : I have to say, the overall flavour is similar to that of the OG bar– maybe a little too familiar for some – probably owing to the caramel layer. There is some peanut flavour, but it’s much gentler than I, and other peanut lovers like me, would perhaps have liked.

Basically, the banana flavour is the artificial flavour that’s a just that little bit too strong to be real banana. Bang on. The base is the same nougat-like centre as the rest of the bars but with a soft peanut flavour in this case. It’s certainly not a full-on peanut flavour, but it is enough to blend well with the chocolate and the peanut chunks add some extra flavour and crunch. The taste of a kids birthday cake has been captured to perfection, just like a sponge with white frosting. As usual, the chocolate is good quality and melts as soon as you take a bite. Plus the chocolate chips are a nice addition, making for a more interesting texture and intensifying the creamy cocoa flavour. This bar should be every chocoholic’s dream, but I can’t help thinking how different it can realistically be from the Fudge Brownie flavour… This little tease was a straight-up white wonder of a bar. The choc chips lurking under the surface were enough to widen every eye at the table. The vibe: There’s the same nougat-y texture to the base as in the other bars. It’s smooth and chewy, with the crispies adding a satisfying crunch when you take a bite.The milk chocolate coating is, as expected, silky and sweet, whilst the nougat-y base is dark and rich, adding that hint of saltiness so beloved of an Oreo biscuit. In terms of flavour, the white chocolate is more of a hint, but this is strawberry ice cream, so what did we expect?
