About this deal

The high-definition 6" LCD touch screen perfectly integrated into the aluminum chassis of the DMP-A6 Master Edition allows practical and ergonomic use. The user experience is intended to be as intuitive as possible. Thus, it is possible to access all player options and information through this beautiful interface. Decoding is also recognisably related to what has gone before but, at the price that the Eversolo enters the market, it feels impressive. The DMP-A6 uses a pair of ES9038Q2M DACs which means that its fully balanced section is able to run with each channel being able to sum the negative and positive signal which is reasonably unusual at the price. Unbalanced RCA connections are also available and everything is powered by a low noise switching power supply that has been engineered with choke filters for additional noise rejection.

It's not perfect though. The Eversolo is dependent on TuneIn Radio for internet radio and this has limitations, especially when it is called upon to access BBC content. AirPlay can be used to send the BBC Sounds App to the DMP-A6 but there’s no Cast for Android users (although there is aptX Bluetooth as a quasi-acceptable substitute). The absence of the simple but useful Bluetooth remote handsets that the Zidoo players come with is also a slight annoyance. It’s not that the Eversolo can’t be used without it but it reduces the convenience factor slightly. The DMP-A6 Master Edition is equipped with balanced analog circuitry from the DAC chip to the stereo XLR and RCA outputs. This limits noise and channel separation provides better signal quality. The unit itself is a fantastic thing, full of functionality and well laid out and designed. I have bought this and am setting it up for a friend as he's not too technical, but this does give me the perspective of comparing it with my own unit which is Auralic Altair G1, which uses the same DAC chips (but was more than double the price). The DMP-A6 is equipped with balanced analog circuitry from the DAC chip to the stereo XLR and RCA outputs. This limits noise and channel separation provides better signal quality. Compatible with most music streaming servicesYou can rip cd’s (just add comptable cd drive to usb OTG port or use another port with OTG cable), it finds the Album Covers.

It has the control and agility to deliver... exactly the right level of intensity...the DMP-A6 would be comfortable fronting a very capable digital-only system if you need it too. The transport functionality is arguably even more impressive.

The DMP-A6 Master Edition is equipped with balanced analog circuitry from the DAC chip to the stereo XLR and RCA outputs. This limits noise and channel separation provides better signal quality. Compatible with most music streaming services It is also compatible with third-party applications such as; Apple music, Spotify, Deezer, Napster, KKbox. Little extras that make the difference: filters, VU meters and aluminum chassis Characteristics: Frequency response: 20Hz~20KHz(±0. 15dB), Dynamic range: > 128dB, SNR: >128dB, THD+N: <0.00009%(-120dB) @A-wt, Crosstalk: >-125dB Inside the A6 functionality includes MQA decoding and/or rendering, it is Roon Ready, and it has Tidal Connect, Spotify Connect, Airplay and DLNA services included. There is a slot at the base of the unit that can support up to 4TB with an M.2 SSD card.

This means that when you select the lovely and fundamentally honest Heads I Win, Tails You Lose by Olli Brown, the Eversolo doesn’t embellish what’s going on. All you get is an absurdly talented young bloke surrounded by musicians who know their instruments inside out. Every single one of them sounds exactly like they should; tonally correct and possessed of the scale and dimensions that they need to be something you don’t question. The utterly marvellous cover of No Diggerty is sumptuously ‘Hi-Fi’ without ever not being as much fun as it should be. It’s a damn good piece of kit for the price and wouldn’t look out of place in a top end, multi thousand pound system unlike the FiiO R7 which looks like it should be in a radio hams hut scanning police frequencies. The DMP-A6 can be controlled from a smartphone or tablet using the free Eversolo Controller mobile app. This will allow you to simply access your music while enjoying a remote interface for easy use from your sofa. Specifications ModelThe DMP-A6 is equipped with an integrated memory 4GB DDR + 32GB eMMC to be able to use many applications. it is equally adept with displaying intimacy so that the very human scale of the recording is retained. Functionally, this unit is better and easier to use and has an excellent informative screen which may be a boon if you are using it in a desk environment where its easier to see all the information. The biggest differences with the S2s are heard in the bass, where the new version is so much more precise and controlled; these speakers are cleaner, more insightful and have notably more punch than their forebears. It looks fantastic, sure it doesn’t have a headphone output but if your willing to part with that level of cash for a piece of HIFI you won’t want to compromise on Headphone capabilities and would rather have a seperate Heapdphone amp that suits your headphones.
