The buds themselves are well-weighted, comfortable and secure in our ears, with the stems angling slightly forward to follow the line of our cheekbones. The silvery sheen on the angular and stylish new stems completes a premium aesthetic that belies the Earfun Air Pro’s entry-level price point. The charging case on the other hand will give you an extra 28 hours of battery life between each charge allowing you to get around 35 hours total with the earbuds and the case. It didn’t take long to get to that 35 hours during the week since I listen to music while I work. Either way, 35 hours is plenty of time for people to listen to music or watch their favorite shows. Users will be granted a noticeable partial isolation from the environment as soon as they wear them.

The earbuds have the ability to protect water at a level of IPX5. That means it can against water jets 12.5L/min, for example, squirt gun or sweat from exercise. So, the EarFun TW302 is good for outdoor sport and indoor sports. But can’t wear them for swimming or working out whilst hard raining. Battery life is seven hours per earbud and 30 hours in total with the case. There’s fast-charging support (10 minutes gives two hours) and compatibility with wireless charging plates, too. With voice assistant control possible, the Free 2’s feature set is robust for the price that EarFun is asking. The buds are quiet as a mouse while on standby / in quiet sections of music, probably the quietest among the handfull of bluetooth earbuds I have at hand. They don't have noticeable delay with either device (20ms-ish on youtube), and support AAC/SBC codecs. Specs: in-ear (with stem), dimension: 2″ x 1.2: x 2.2″, weight: 8.4 ounces, Bluetooth 5.0, full-charge (case): 1.5 hours, charging type: USB type C, During call-handling, both our voice and the caller’s is clear and the driver housings respond perfectly to our touch when accepting or declining calls, without the need to dig out our phone.Upon opening the charging case you will that it is molded to fit EarFun Air supremely. When you take the EarFun Air wireless earbuds out, you will see a magnet that holds the buds in place, and towards the below of the charging case, you will see 2 gold connectors, pins that again, charge the buds when attached. The Earfun Air Pro fit securely, connect easily, have reliable controls and feature basic but effective noise-cancelling profiles – for just a small premium on the Air model. There’s also USB-C charging and wearer detection, plus the sound is pretty decent for the money. As for the charging case, you care about getting a pillbox-style charging case like most other earbuds cases out there. There is one LED light that lights up depending on the battery juice left in the charging case. The above LED light indicator is a lip for opening up the case and revealing the buds. The position that the EarFun Air earbuds sit in your ears will depend on what is most comfortable for you. Although I expected the little posts on the earbuds to point downward when I placed the earbuds in my ears, the above photos show how the EarFun Air earbuds fit most comfortably in my ears, with the little posts aimed forward and slightly downward. In this position, they felt really comfortable and stable in my ears, and in fact, even while sweating quite heavily during several vigorous workouts, the Earfun Air earbuds stayed in my ears. This is one of the very few times that I could recall this happening with any of the wireless earbuds I’ve reviewed. Kudos to Earfun for nailing this.

On top of that, a long battery life of 35 hours that actually mostly lives up to its expectations proves superior to many competitors, with 7 hours away from the case working out well. Not that we're huge fans of the rather bulky charging case but fast charging means 10 minutes gives you an extra 2 hours and we're definitely happy with that.The EarFun Air’s Charging Case can also be charged wirelessly using virtually and Qi-type charger. In the photo above, I’m using the CHOETECH Wireless Charging Pad, a product we previously reviewed here at The Gadgeteer. Full charging time for the earbuds in the Charging Case is about 1.5 hours, while the Charging Case itself can be charged via the USB-C cable in about 2 hours or via wireless charging in about 3.5 hours. The sound will please a majority of general users. I would prefer a little more precision, but then, I'm an Etymotics sort of person and my other iems are all detail oriented with faster, more resolving drivers. A sweep finds 10hz deliver an audible rumble with a slightly resonant boom between 50-90hz. The drivers were well matched and I couldn't find any other issues such as driver flex / housing creak. I'm really happy getting this sort of consistency in design from earbuds at this price range. Perhaps they can tweak the onboard DSP a bit given that there wasn't that much absolute roll-off. This feature allows you to still hear the sound from outside while listening to music. The transparent mode have useful for being aware of the dangers that will arise while listening to music, for example, as you walk on the sidewalk or across the street, you will hear the horn of cars.
