I hesitate to use absolute words like "will" and "promise" and "I am a capable professional adult," but I fully plan/expect/hope that this book will be coming sooner than that. The March date is the latest it could be out, but it hopefully will come earlier. Okay i kinda... love him?! RAIHN APOLOGIST OKAY ✋️ He is SUCH a good book bf- so obsessed with her? ✅️ Will burn the world down for her? ✅️ HOT? ✅️✅️ I also love how he's a brutal vampire and will kill for her, but then can also be so unexpectedly sweet 🤭🤭 And literally everytime he said "There she is" he had me SWOONINGGG 😩🤭🤌🦋 this book was pure cunt! the passion!! the electricity!! i love this series to the depths of my soul. i was a completely different bitch prior to reading this series. i can’t comprehend that none of it was real and that i’m simply expected to move on with my life 😖💔 Secondly, I hated how Oraya gave everything she had worked so hard for up to save Raihn’s ass ONCE AGAIN. I already talked about how the author used the plot devices of the first book in this one but I have to mention this again. ORAYA BE SERIOUS RIGHT NOW, THIS ISN’T YOU. I can somehow justify your stupidity once but twice? This is too much.

With book 3, we'll be moving to a new spotlight character and spending more time in the House of Shadow. More news on this coming very soon! The underdevelopment of the villains. We all clearly hate the villains, but I wanted to loathe them. I think there was one too many, and I wanted to get to know them a little deeper as well.

From the human afraid to leave her rooms in the first book, always wearing leather and armor, she will now prowl with confidence castle halls and city street’s in nothing else than common clothes. If vampires were ravenous for her blood before, seeing her as prey, now with the mark of heir, they fear and admire her.I think this is what I loved most about this story, how the author was able to explore complicated human emotions and relationships, and its costs. Vincent the king, who would kill my whole family in the name of power, who would slaughter an entire race, who would lie to me for nearly twenty years about my blood to protect his crown. She said it so simply. Like it was just a truth, nothing to be judged or disagreed with. I knew that she believed it, and in this moment, I loved her fiercely for that. It was a very difficult road, but ultimately, I feel really proud of where this story ended up. I hope you absolutely love it! the only travesty is that we didn't get more of this bc forget Raihn's grovelling, forget Oraya's badassness. i loved that, but THIS. this is what made the book for me. it was the part that made me sob uncontrollably. whether or not Vincent was alive/dead, it made no difference because he was always with Oraya, in her mind, whispering thoughts.
